Pros/Cons: Finally! A instant meat thermometer that's digital, can actually see the numbers and works on all different thicknesses of chicken, beef, lamb, turkey roasts or steaks. I've used this many times in the past few weeks from oven dishes to cast iron stove top pans and I love it! It shuts itself off when you wipe the probe off and close it. Ready to go the next time you need to use it again. Battery life will last longer because of that, but I haven't a clue yet as to how long it lasts or its' durability. I will update my review once I've had it for a year. I'll purchase another one if it lasts that long for me because it reliable and a great value.

There are temp guidelines on the back so you’re sure to know what’s safe and what’s not. It powers on instantly when you “open” the probe and seems to be of quality material.
