The ONLY earbuds with a decent microphone
TL;DR: Get these if you are prioritizing microphone quality - they really are the only good option out there, especially in this form factor.I see quite a few negative reviews on these earbuds, and I believe it's because people have the wrong expectation. If you're looking for work earbuds that are portable and sound clear on calls, these are it. Some may be better for certain situations (e.g. Shockz) but are either more expensive, less portable, or both. These provide you with decent audio and a microphone that is comparable to using your phone directly. They do not produce audiophile-qulity sound. They are the ONLY alternative to a clunky headset or external microphone that I've found so far, and my tests have included some very expensive earbuds as well as earpiece-style devices that should have done better (e.g. Plantronics Voyager). With that in mind, pros and cons below:Pros:- Great microphone (by bluetooth headphone standards)- Good enough audio quality for conversations or basic recreational use- Great battery life, both in-use and from the case- USB-C charging (unlike Plantronics which uses a proprietary charger)- Comfortable, and stays in ear, especially with the help of included adjustable fins- Bluetooth Multipoint. For a headset at this price point, this is a fantastic feature and works well across my MacBook and Android phone.- Removable microphone so you can use them like regular buds- Small and looks more modern than a full on headset when worn- Price. I got these when they were on sale for ~$40, but at their full price of $80 I still think they are worth it- Customizable controls (although they are still pretty bad, see below)Cons:- The case is enormous and not pocketable at all. If you're carrying it, you need some kind of bag. The 55+ hour rated battery life is great, but I'd much rather half that and be able to put it in my pocket.- The case cover is magnetic, and feels a bit weak. I worry it will come off if I throw it in a bag, but so far it's been fine- Controls are dreadful - I don't love the tap control for everything. e.g. tap once for volume up, twice for volume down, etc. With only one tap surface and no swipe controls, I would have preferred physical buttons. I basically need to use the host device (e.g. phone/laptop) to control the volume. These are customizable but the premise of having to tap something potentially 3 times is pretty annoying, and the detection of taps isn't great either.- Proper in-ear detection. It seems like a software choice, because in-ear detection works when you first take them out of the case (they don't connect until you put them in your ear), but they don't disconnect when you remove them. This is kind of a nitpick and normally I wouldn't even include this, but it is preventing me from using a smaller case without the charger. The minute I put them in my ear, they will connect and stay connected unless I manually disconnect them from my device, or put them into a the charging case.

These earbuds do not last 55+ hours they last less than a 9 hour workday
The ear pieces cut out when people talk in zoom meetings consistently. No tap to mute function so I have to manually mute my video calls, which is a pain when presenting important information to our company’s leadership. Batteries also die a lot quicker than 55 hours. I had to constantly charge them on breaks to ensure they held charge. The microphone is very weak and had to bend it at just the perfect angle for associates to hear me. Would not recommend buying these. I was a big fan of JLab products until now.

Great for work!
I got these earbuds for work as I am having increasingly more virtual meetings. With two young children, work from home is not always a quiet environment. These caught my eye as they are the only earbuds I have seen with a boom mic which would help to reduce surrounding noise and isolate my voice during calls. The quality of these earbuds are ok for the price: plastic, basic color, and a solid case.Connectivity was way more srraightforward than I expected, no need to toggle with buttons, just take the earbuds out of the case and hit connect on your device. The earbuds also fit better than I expected. I was initially concerned they would be too bulky (as my ears tend to be on the smaller side), but they were comfortable and able to stay in my ear.But the biggest thing is the call quality. The recipients of my calls were able to hear me clearly even in a noisy environment. This is exactly the reason I got these earbuds and am glad they worked so well.I am not an audiophile, I got these earbuds for work and not recreation, but the sound quality has also exceeded my expectations.Another great feature these earbuds have are muti-point connectivity, a feature normally seen in higher end earbuds, and this feature has been working so far for me.Overall, these earbuds have worked great for the reason I've gotten them: to obtain clearer calls in a work from home life that is not always in a very quiet environment.

JLab Work Buds are pretty good..
Pros:- They have average sound quality that can be tweaked to slightly above average due to the app you can download on your phone.- They have multipoint connection, so you can be connected to two devices at once.. like your computer and smartphone, setting it up is easy enough.. you pair it to your first device, disconnect it and pair it to the second device then just enable the first device again.- I was told my mic quality was good enough for talking through Steam when watching a movie with a friend. Again, the app has settings that you can tweak to make it the best experience for you.- The value for money, these things used to be $80 but now can be had for as low as $40.. probably even lower during one of many Amazon seasonal sales..- Battery life is solid, lasting at least 6 hours on a single charge before needing to be topped up again in the added case.. bonus points for allowing the mic to be placed inside the case alongside the earbuds, no matter which side you put it on.Cons:- The only con I can truly think of is the ear fatigue you can get when wearing these for long periods of time, if you want a proper seal with these earbuds, you'll have to use the larger earbuds and wingtips to achieve that (in my opinion anyway, the standard ones that were installed were too small) and it put pressure on the insides of your ears.. though with time, this issue might subside (I've only been using em for about two days now..)
