Beautiful tablecloth
The reason I could not give this five is this tablecloth wrinkle like you would not believe Washing and drying does not help. Ironing is a hazzle but I did it. When I get it to the table it is wrinkle again. I will take the cleaners to see if their presser can subdue some of these wrinkle. It looks amazing with my new China save for the wrinkle. Napkins. Same thing. This is my nightmare

Imperfections in both Tablecloths
I really wanted to love this tablecloth! I bought one to use when the table is set up for 6 and another larger one exactly like it for when the table is set up for 8. When I opened the tablecloths to press them I noticed that the blue dye from the center rectangle was smeared on the white part of both tablecloths. If it has been only a small place and around the edge, not in the center, I may have kept the tablecloths because it wouldn't have been in an obvious place. However, for what I paid for these, I felt that they should be better inspected and not sold as perfect items. I really hate that these did not work for me. Just FYI to anyone considering these Portofino tablecloths, if you buy them, be sure to open them right away and inspect them thoroughly for flaws.

Poor quality
Do not buy! It didn't come from the Avant brand, it came from another brand called Spode. The print came all crooked! Horrible poor quality.

Pretty But With Flaws
I bought two of these in different sizes for my dining room table. Love the colors and pattern but when I opened them to make sure they were O.K., I found that the blue dye from the center design had smeared onto the white areas and it was permanent. I feel that for the fact that these are brand name items and for cost of these tablecloths, they should have been inspected at the factory and rejected but they were packaged and sent on to be sold as first quality, so I returned them.

We got these for our breakfast room table and they look good and seem to be good quality.
