Update 6/2025
6/2025: I have increase to 5 stars as I really think this decoy worked while the geese were here in the winter! I plan to add a second decoy this fall. I was excited when I ordered this product and then disappointed when I received it. It clearly appeared to have been previously returned before being shipped to me. One ear fell out and I had to wrestle with the shape of the head to get to some semblance of normal. It was packaged sloppily. The two white cable ties were already severed. However I still decided to keep it because this isnโt rocket science and it is not over the top expensive at $59.99. I am just trying to keep annoying geese off my property. So we will see how it goes. It looks pretty good and I am monitoring its effectiveness. As the weather warms up I will try to โfattenโ it up from its current โflattened pancakeโ state. If it works I will update my rating upward. Also: Any suggestions on how to 'stuff'/'fatten' it would be appreciated.

So disappointed and such low quality
Why did you pick this product vs others?: 1-Star Review: Yote Coyote Decoy by Lucky Duck โ Overpriced and Poorly Made The Yote Coyote decoy is an absolute letdown and a complete departure from the standard Iโve come to expect. I bought two of these decoys at $63.00 each, and Iโm beyond disappointed with how cheaply made and overpriced they are. Right out of the box, the quality is laughably bad. The material is flimsy and feels awful. The decoy wonโt even stand straightโ it flops over and looks like a sad, crumpled joke rather than a realistic coyote. For $63.00, I expected something sturdy, well-crafted, and functional, but this feels like a $25 decoy at best. The construction is so shoddy that I question how itโs supposed to hold up in the field. The included pictures show just how pathetic these decoys look in personโcrooked, cheap, and nothing like the promotional images. As someone who buys a lot of hunting gear this purchase was a massive mistake. Iโm incredibly disappointed and frustrated, especially given the high price tag for such a low-quality product. Iโd give this zero stars if I could, but Iโm stuck with one star. Save your money and skip the Yote Coyote decoyโitโs not worth a fraction of the cost. Lucky Duck, please do better; this is unacceptable for your brand. This is SO BAD.

Yotee & Yotette...
The amazing twin paraplegic coyotes... Put up only an hour ago, I have forgotten about them twice and they scare me!!! As I am writing this, 2 deer came down the road ... one started nibbling on the lower branches of a fir tree. The other deer faced the coyotes and stared them down... from about 50 feet away... then backed off... and into the woods it went... slowly. The first, who munched only once, looked nervously and then followed the other. I could see all this from my window by the computer. I am sure they could not see me from this angle. I went to the front door, opened it slowly and let out a yipp and a howl... The deer scattered! I never expected to see the deer in the daylight, and so soon, so this was a treat! The wind moves them around on the support stake causing them to look animated. Even their tails wag. I bought these to put some fear into the deer who are munching the lower branches of all my trees this winter. So far, they are doing a great job! The deal I got from Warehouse Deals persuaded me to make the purchase as I got 2 for just about the price of one with free shipping. Listed as "Just Like New", they both arrived in the original packaging, but one looking like it was molting... the paint finish was peeling slightly on some areas of the body. This did not bother me, as it even aided in the realism of the product. You need to unwrap them and leave them in a warm place for a day to allow them to regain their original shape and form. I aided the process by stuffing rag rugs into the body cavity while they were "warming". All in all, I cannot see how you can get a more realistic decoy. Yes, the legs are chopped off, but that allows the critters to bob and weave in the breeze, giving them a most impressive posture that will fool deer, your neighbors, and yourself (when you forget about them).

Doesnโt work
Doesnโt keep the geese away, even though we relocate it frequently. It will not hold filling very long and then it comes out.

Keeps Pesky Geese and Maybe Squirrels Away 2nd One
OK, so this is my 2nd one. Lasted years and they work pretty well. They pivot and wiggle a bit on their support to give effect of realism. Bad tail on this one. Less costly one I tried looked like crazed crap. Don't judge--HORRIBLE goose problem due to lake and area, no fences allowed, tried everything. Problem worsens every year. Tolerating the noise but the poop and torn up lawn is terrible. Seriously, no place to even step after flocks visit everyday. I actually have peace of mind right now and in the middle of this shelter at home pandemic I need all the peace I can get. DON'T FEED THEM!!! Lots of reasons.

Yote Coyote Does the Job!
We have suffered from the droppings of geese on the walkway into our office for years. We have tried chasing them away with squirt guns, remote control cars, and frisbees. As a last resort, we decided to try a coyote decoy. We are thrilled. For the first time, the geese stay away when they spot "Yote." If they fly in, we just put Yote out near the walkway, and they just graze in the grass away from our door. We do try to move him around a bit so they don't get too used to seeing him in the same place, but when the wind blows, "Yote" moves a little with it, as does his tail, which makes him look even more real. The only Con about "Yote" is that he has scared more than one of our employees and visitors--he looks that real (except for the having no legs part.) I highly recommend "Yote" if you have a problem with geese. He worked for us.

Didnโt scare away the geese
The item itself is real looking but it seems the geese in my location likes to co-exist with wolves

Bye! Bye! Geese.
Most effective device I have ever bought to deter geese. They see it and move away. Moving it around keeps the geese on high alert. The rubber body is very realistic but some what inflexible and hard to maintain an animal shape. So I stuffed the body with old rags, then fastened the bottom of the body together to keep the rags in.
