Used for nearly 10 years!
While preheating the oven today, I noticed a lot of smoke from pizza drippings from a couple nights ago. Having to cool down the oven so I could remove the liner for cleaning, I decided it was probably time I got a new one. Imagine my surprise when I checked past orders to find I order this oven liner in 2012 and I'd been using it for nearly 10 years! While comparing other brands for replacement, it dawned on me to just reorder this one since it's been tried and true for years. Hope it hasn't changed since the last time I purchased it. BTW, my liner sits under my electric oven's heating element.

Tidy oven bottom
I was at someone's house last Thanksgiving & they had a product like this, which we pulled out after dinner, (spills galore!) rinsed off & put back in the oven. Voila! At the time, I thought, "What a great product" & I still feel that. The typical tin foil oven protectors that I've always used always seem to get slightly bent or dented by the time I got them home as they are flimsy. Then they don't sit properly on the bottom of your oven. I cook & bake a fair amount & it's just a matter of time before I get spills or crumbs of some kind. This just makes it so easy to clean up...AND it sits flat on the bottom of your oven. I had to cut about an inch off one side for a proper fit, but as the instructions said, it was very easy to do & I just used regular scissors. I'm sold & think this should be a "gotta-have" in every kitchen. I just wish I'd learned about them years ago.

Simply amazing - Just had to buy more of these
My MIL told me about these, as a solution to keep my brand new ovens looking brand new. I bought a few to give away and one for myself originally. It looks easy enough to cut to size but I left it a little long to slightly cover the sides of my oven.A few friends came over and made some great baked dishes that overflowed. It was easy to slide out the entire liner wipe clean and pop right back in. My oven looks good as new again.I was so impressed by the heat resistance and easy to clean surface, I just bought another to put in my second oven. I highly recommend these. They seem incredible durable. I have had my first one for about three months and it still holds up. My MIL finds these to be better than the ones she grew up with (which lasted for 10 years), so I expect these to hold out for a pretty long time. Though the price makes it worth replacing regularly.

I was a bit skeptical at first as to whether this would actually survive in the oven w/o melting or giving off fumes but I've had it in my oven for a while now and have noticed neither problem. It does help keep the bottom of the oven clean which is great for me because I live in an apartment and it helps lessen the effort needed to clean the oven up when I move around.I use this in an electric oven so there is a coil just an inch or two above this and it has not caused any problems.I recommend this for those people who, like me, put pizzas and other potentially-messy items right on the oven rack w/o using foil or anything. Doing so gives me crispier pizzas and wastes less aluminum (which is expensive, dirty and dangerous to mine).

Oven liner a must have
Oven liners aren't exciting. But they are waaaay better than cleaning the stuff off the oven floor.Stuff sloshes. Pie fillings are the worst. You take out your messy oven liner, clean it easily, dry it and return it to the oven. Don't use the self clean cycle or other super high temperatures. Not good for your oven liner, and I've been told it isn't so good for the oven. I haven't exploded anything recently, but if I still cooked like that I'd want these things to be attached to the sides with little clips.I've used other brands. If you have reasonable expectations of them and treat them well, you will be just as happy with the cheaper ones as with the more expensive ones. Measure your oven and get the best fit.

Helpful
I had a different type product similar to this but it burned up in the oven after many years of use. So I was looking for a suitable replacement when I ran across this one. It's a heavier gauge material, more than most of the other types you will find. As it is with many of this type of thing, you can sometimes get an odor that is given off when it's new and in the oven the first few times. But with time that should pass. Follow the instructions and you should be fine. Easy to clean, just wipe up with soap and water and you are good to go.

An Absolute MUST!
This is a must-have for EVERY oven. Whether your rent or own your own home, and it has a kitchen with an OVEN, you NEED this. No one that I know of wants to EVER clean an oven with baked/burned on spills. For so little money you can slide this liner onto the bottom of your oven, and remove it when it has spills. Then just brush the ashes off or wash the ashes down the sink. Presto! You can put your oven liner back to work. Your actual oven floor stays immaculate! I have had one for years, and just recently bought 4 more. Two for me, one for my oven and one for my counter-top toaster oven, and sent two to my sister who had never heard of them. Get them for yourself and you won't be disappointed.

Carefull not a retail packaged product
Mine came shipped in a cardboard poster tube absent any kind of retail packaging. As if it was resold from a larger wholesale package or cut from a larger sheet or something.Luckily I was only using it to line the bottom of a camping cook stove, so I'm not overly worried about it. But depending on your use that may be a concern for you.I'm giving it a neutral rating because there is not way for me to verify if it was the brand I paid for, or some cheaper knockoff. Amazon and it's vendors are using the old bait and switch tactic a bit to much for my taste these days. Next time I'll just go to Bed Bath and Beyond.

What a great product!
It was a long wait, but when this oven spill mat liner arrived it was first quality and was extremely good value! We had purchased cheaper imitations of this product and when we received them would not give them as a gift. We were happy to give this product as a kitchen gift to our daughter, she is ecstatic to eliminate the task of cleaning her oven and our son-in-law is really looking forward to more shepherd's pie now that bake-overs are no probem. It is a win-win-win situation for us all. Thanks for offering this product.

Well packaged, arrived very quick
Fits oven well, would have been nice to know it had to go on the bottom rack rather than the bottom of the oven for gas ovens prior to purchasing, but seems like it will do the job.

Not what I expected
The first time I put it in the oven it smelled quite bad. I checked it and even though the element wasn't touching it, it still melted slightly in 2 spots. I moved it to the bottom rack and it still melted slightly against the bars. Disappointed and wouldn't recommend or buy again.
