The Lego Movie 3D is a very popular computer animated film, which falls under the genre of adventure-comedy. It was directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. It was distributed by the Warner Brothers and has been voiced by Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks and Liam Neeson, among others. It was a huge critical and commercial hit, grossing over 450 million dollars all over the world. The story begins when Vitruvius, the wise wizard, attempts to keep a super-weapon (known as the Kragle) safe. Despite his best efforts, it falls into the hands of his nemesis, the evil lord of the Lego universe, Lord Business. There is still hope, however. Vitruvius predicts that a saviour, simply known as The Special, will stumble upon the perfect antidote to the Kragle. The problem, however, begins when a perfectly ordinary construction worker from Bricksburg, called Emmett Brickowski, is drawn into this dangerous world of magic and mania by sheer coincidence. He finds himself entangled with issues that he has no understanding (let alone experience) of. As Lord Business and his evil henchman, Bad Cop, fight tooth and nail to take over the world with the Kragle, it is up to Emmett, Vitruvius and a few others to stop the villains. As it turns out, though, Emmett isn't exactly superhero material and he finds himself dealing with situations which become increasingly more complicated. He has no idea how to take on villains and his journey is a pleasure to watch, inducing laughter throughout the length of the movie. The Lego Movie takes viewers through the intricate and exciting world of Lego in three dimensional brilliance, bringing forth a great message at the same time. It was released in 2014 by Warner Bros, in Dolby format. With a U rating, it has a total run time of 100 minutes.
