I would like to grade walnuts and almonds for baking...can it grate them without them being all sticky?

I grind nuts in it often and it works great. The trick is to let them completely cool after toasting them, before putting them through the grinder

Is this grinder easy to clean?

I find that the grinder is very easy to clean ! I use a small rubber spatula for cleaning in and around the blades, which does a fine job and saves the fingers !!
