Punam C Natural and G Natural Base
There are multiple comments on Punam flutes already. I purchased C natural some 3 weeks back. In summary1. Look and feel - much better than other brands2. Hardy - seems better than other brands, but need to watch for 1 yr atleast before I do a final comment. However if you catch and feel the bamboo, its seems and feels hardy and better than other brands.3. Tone - excellent, however on this area I guess some of the other brands are also doing good. Their tone quality is also good.4. Pakaging - overall cover and strings are far better than other brands. It gives a professional look to the basuri. Easy to carry.5. Price - much higher than other brands, if you are just looking for the right tone then some of the other brands are also good to use.If you are a beginner than you can get the same tone quality with half the price. For learning purposes its ok to use other brands also which are well tuned. This is my personal opnion, others might vary.If you are experianced most go with basuri made by specific people and dont look into mass produced basuri. So for professional use, talk with Punam flute helpdesk and visit a store and then order flute based on your requirements. Directly buying from online is not advisable.Punam flute helpdesk is very good and they take time to clarify your questions. You can definatly reach out to them with your questions.Overall I am very happy with the Punam C Natural Basuri 19". I have quite a few C Natural from other makes also, but Punam stands out in look and feel. In summary, for beginners if you can afford the price go with Punam C Natural and G Natural Base, if price is a constrain then buy from other brands accompanied/suggested by your Basuri teacher. Avoid cheap quality bamboo basuri, tone is not good and generally cracks very often. Also, do a lot of read in google that helps a lot.

Not fully Satisfied !!
I am absolute beginner and this is my first flute. Initially I had set my budget of ₹.300-500/- for the flute to learn. Then I come across 'Punam Flutes' over internet and on YouTube. I gathered as much as information about flute and flute players and watched a lot of videos, read a lot of reviews on Amazon.in of Punam Flutes. And finally after three weeks made decision to buy "C Natural Medium" flute of 'Punam Flutes' though it is too costlier (for me). I ordered (25th Aug.'18) it from Amazon and received (1st Sep.) within committed time (thanks to Amazon.in). The reviews has raised my expectations about the quality of the flute I had ordered. But honestly I want share some my experience about this Punam Flute.Likes - The flute is absolutely straight and round in shape. Sounds good. Its 'Sa' matches with 'C4' of 61 Keys Keyboard. Threading is unique and beautiful. Too light in weight. Length is as good as mentioned in the features. Case supplied to store the flute is strong enough to keep and carry the flute safely.Dislikes - The first look of my flute made me confused as it looks like it's refurbished. The marks (may be made by the insects) all over the flute which seems to be filled and polished with something (may be I am wrong). A major one is seen near the blowing hole and it is deep enough to feel with the touch (see the image if you can). I wasn't expecting such finishing as far as the quality of a highly priced Punam Flutes is concerned. It made me disappointed. I don't know if it is common and every Punam flute has such marks but it made me unhappy. It is not returnable.

Nice for Beginners
The flute came well packaged in a plastic tube which was in a canvas tube bag which was again in a cardboard box. Despite all this, the plastic tube got a dent, which is fine. Not a big deal. The flute is decently tuned for a beginner. I was recommended the brand by a friend who is also learning. A short note on how to maintain the flute in our climate would be nice.
