I am absolutely thrilled with my new Singer 4423 Heavy Duty Sewing Machine! As a beginner, I was a bit intimidated by the idea of sewing, but this machine has made it a breeze. The included accessory kit is incredibly useful and has everything I need to get started. The 97 stitch applications are amazing - I've been able to create beautiful, professional-looking garments with ease. The machine is so easy to use, even for a novice like me. The instructions are clear and concise, and the machine is very intuitive. I've been sewing for hours a day and haven't had any issues whatsoever. Singer 4423 is the good heavy duty durable quality machine which can stitch almost all the fabric type. Below are my few observation and points after using it for few day of purchase. It got this sewing machine with good deal 15690 in deal of the day and 10% coupon from the seller discount. 1. Machine looks solid and very solid build. 2. Very easy to carry and have a handle to carry easy. 3. Built in led light which very powerful and white light very helpful to sew without any special fixture. 4. Automatic needle threader which is very good and practical usage. 5. Needle thread cutter is very useful and sharp to cut the thread saves time without using scissors. 6. It sew fast actually 1100 stitches per minutes. 7. I like the foot controller which an electronic and as you put pressure the speed changes very gradually & smooth. 8. Stretch stitch wonderful feature. 9. you can adjust the stitch length stitch style with the easy rotating knobs. 10. A compartment to store the accessories of the sewing machine provide is good and sleek. 11. More points to come this is only after few days of usage. Value for money and they provide Demo after purchase which is free. please go for it if your budget is above 15k INR a very decent and powerful sewing solution. Singer the name you can trust . Very bad I ordered this machine then plugged it in then I even pressed on presser foot to start the machine but the sound came but machine didn’t worked every everything looks fine light sound but it didn’t even work I need replacement or it to be repaired. Even to upload this video it’s taking like 10min my network is permanently good only with amazing this is happening.

I bought it a week ago looks good. very powerful device. he sews even fat things. operation is as simple as with my old pedal machine. but speed control is not smooth. he has to push it very gently. it can be taught to control, but it takes patience. otherwise I am satisfied with the device is beautiful.unfortunately after a month of use the kit has gone bad and it can't be threaded. I need to contact the customer center. I am disappointed.Fortunately, the repairman finaly arrived very quickly. even though he had to come from a place 200 km away. I didn't have to pay anything.it has been badly fitted since production. he said now it's supposed to work well.

I have only had the machine a week, but I know what quality is. I read as many reviews as possible before any purchase - anything over $30 I do that anyway. The multi-lingual "document" that arrives with the machine really isn't much help, for the beginner or the experienced. Other than repeat warnings to not leave it plugged in when not in use, it is mainly safety stuff. (Keep your fingers away from the needle! Simple and basic) The threading diagram and bobbin winding diagrams were a help, but the threading pathways are labeled on the machine. I have almost 50 years of experience with Singer and other sewing machines so I did not need much tutoring. A troubleshooting guide, like what came with my last machine would have been nice, but really its easier to YouTube how-to and the troubleshooting anyway. I was glad to read INTHE REVIEWS that the type of bobbin that this model 4423 takes- a clear plastic class 15 bobbin. NOT 15J, only class 15. Not metal. The machine came with one bobbin as the top thread and one inserted properly in the bobbin case, plus 2 spare. Be sure to check the stitch width and other settings before you start. Use zero for the width (mine was set at 4, don't use that) The center little indicator for the other 2 dials is best left alone (tension, etc) at the midpoint that is indicated by a TINY arrow. When you do sew, just like some other machines, hang onto your thread ends as you begin to sew, particularly if you are starting at a corner. If the threads get balled up under there, it's a mess. My mother's 1970's Singer machine used to do the same thing. It becomes a balled-up mess under there. It sews over thick seams like blue jeans have and does well. I did break a needle already- but I was replacing the zipper in my jeans and it was the last set of tack stitches at the bottom. I have only ONCE successfully sewn across in that area without breaking the needle, so no news there. Last piece of advice- practice on scraps so you can get a feel for using the foot pedal first! That thing is lightweight, and sensitive too. 0 to 60 in a leap! This is my 4th machine in 40 years, but I sew a lot and mend a lot. (Not made like they used to be made, but nothing is.) Nice touch to include a lightweight dust cover, and the right tools. I rate it overall 4.5 stars.

I'm not an experienced sewer. This is the first time I've ever used a sewing machine so take this review with a grain of salt. At first I thought I would never learn how to thread this machine but I watched a video on youtube by a guy named kevinsews who has almost the identical machine. He went through the setup process in a very clear way and now I'm able to thread it in my sleep. You just have to pay attention to where the thread goes and that will help to eliminate any problems. So far I've used it to sew some of my work pants, repairing and modifying them. I've also added breast pockets to some of my work shirts. My wife has used this machine to sew some pouches for our daughter. My wife has a bit more experience with a sewing machine than me, but not much. The thing we realized was, you have to find the correct setting for the type of material you are sewing. The pouches my wife made are a stretchy fabric while my works pants are not. Once you have the correct setting the stitches come out nice. It was a bit frustrating at first but now I've got it down to know how much foot and thread pressure to use. This seems like a powerful machine. I was able to sew over the seams of my pants and it didn't slow it down. I like the reverse function. I use it to strengthen the beginning and ending of the seams. The foot pedal control can be a bit tricky when you are first starting. A lot of the time, just as I get it going, I'll try to start slowly but end up putting too much pressure on the pedal and the machine will sew too fast. Once it is going though I have more control over it. Also, like many people have said, the wire from the machine to the foot pedal is too short. I've been looking for another, older model of Singer foot pedal to maybe replace this one. Since this is my first sewing machine I can't compare it to other models or brands but I am giving it a 5 start as both my wife and I have had a very positive experience with this machine. When I first started looking for machines I was expecting to pay at least double if not triple the price of this one. For the price it's been a good investment. The pouches my wife makes for our daughter are to hold her insulin pump. Before we had this sewing machine my wife bought a few and with shipping almost came out to the same price as this machine. I would not hesitate to recommend this sewing machine to family and friends, which we have.

Es mi primera máquina, llevo un mes con ella, todo ha ido de maravilla, espero así siga, la compré por el precio y la marca, adicional al ser un producto muy comercial encuentro muchos videos cuando tengo dudas en su funcionamiento. Hace todas sus funciones correctamente como ojal, enhebrado automático, llena la bobina sin ninguna complicación, ya hice la puntada overlock, zigzag, recta y todo bien, es muy intuitiva.

I just purchased this Singer 4423 Heavy Duty sewing machine and have only had it for a couple of days. I will use it for doing simple repairs on clothing. I'm a 67 year old man and have never used a sewing machine before, so I can only attest to the machine being easy to setup and operate. I did have some problems with the bobbin thread balling up in its compartment, but that was due to bad thread. Once I purchased good quality thread that problem was solved. The instructions that shipped with the machine were pretty sparse, but I downloaded the manual from Singer's website, plus several videos on YouTube that detailed the proper maintenance and operation of this particular model sewing machine. Only time will tell if this machine holds up over the next few years. My best advice is to experiment, be patient, read the manual thoroughly and take advantage of the many resources available on the internet for this machine! Update --- Since receiving this sewing machine I have sewn nylon webbing, leather and other thick fabrics!! I just repaired a cellphone case and this machine went through two thin layers of leather and a cardboard insert! I just love this sewing machine and hope it holds up for a few years!! UPDATE: 08/09/2021 Well, I've had this Singer 4423 sewing machine for a few months now and still love it! As I previously mentioned, I'm a novice when it comes to sewing!! Since my initial review, I have sewn several pot holders, aprons and have now completed 3 Hawaiian shirts, 1 work shirt and am currently working on 2 western shirts! I must admit I have experienced many of the problems other users have complained about, but these were solved by simply taking the time to read the manual and doing a little research on the internet. This is a simple and reliable machine and if you take the time to do your homework it will serve you well though many projects!! Update 02/13/2023: I've had this little Singer 4423 HD for almost 2 years now and can't say enough good things about it. I have sewn everything from quilting cotton, to denim and even some light leather with this machine and it has never let me down. I believe this machine is the best unit at its price point! Update 10/06/2024: Well, I've had this machine now for almost 4 years. I can't say enough good things about this Singer 4323HD sewing machine. I've run both light and heavy fabrics and materials, the latest being heavy Cordura, through this machine and it has given me perfect stitches every time! I must admit however, that I'm pretty anal about cleaning and properly maintaining my equipment. This little machine just keeps performing beyond my expectations for its price point!!
