Perfect for homeschooling

This was something i knew our grandsons would need for the work in their school and at home. Their parents hadn't gotten it and I was glad to help the boys understand it. I helped my grandson with his homework one night and had to explain what some of the words meant in order for him to understand the work sheet. I realized a dictionary would have helped but I didn't want a plain old dictionary with words and no pictures. My older daughter got this for her son's years ago and they are now 28 and 25 so I knew it would hellp my younger grandsons 7 and 10. they were excited getting it for xmas as a Big boys sort of present-- even though they were among the toys too. Our older grandsons mentioned they had that book too when they were in school- making the younger boys feel like BIG GUYS!!!

Brought for niece in third grade and she loves it. She can use it in the future.

A really good purchase for kids

This is the best dictionary I could find that is the right level for my son who is almost 6. I was concerned that this was in British English based on the pictures ("armour", "biscuit" showing a picture of cookies, etc), but the version I received is American English, which is what I wanted.
