How well does it eliminate oders?

I've tried other brands, and the others just don't stack up against the Smoke Buddy. With the exception of the smoke from 'lighting up'...this baby works wonders! I've bought several as gifts, also.

Is black stuff supposed to fall out when you open it?

this is the charcoal. contact them and they’ll probably replace it as that is a manufacturing error

How do you use the keychain? I do not know how to get it to light?

Press on the mouth so hard it hurts your finger.

How many years can this last with smoke in it?

I wouldn't say years it depends on how heavy the usage is if you smoke every day a month or 2 and I should add as a side note is does not filter burning smoke only exhaled
