Fast cooking and ready to go machine
The media could not be loaded. I’m really impressed with how versatile this 2-in-1 slush and ice cream maker is. The machine switches easily between modes, and it makes everything from creamy ice cream to refreshing slushies without any hassle. The 360° cooling really makes a difference—the texture comes out smooth and consistent every time, and I love that there’s no need to add ice. It feels like a professional setup, but it’s simple enough to use at home for quick treats. What surprised me most is how many different drinks it works with. I’ve tried juice, chocolate milk, and even a margarita mix, and everything turned out delicious. It does work best with sugary drinks, so I recommend following the tips in the guide for best results. Cleaning is another big plus—it literally takes one touch, and the removable parts make it easy to keep the machine spotless. Overall, it’s a fun and reliable appliance that’s been a hit with my family and friends. If you’re looking for a way to make frozen drinks and desserts at home without the mess or hassle, this is definitely worth it.Note: less sugary mixes also work well with the offered “cooking” modes. Comes with a recipe book for reference and a cleaner stick.

Great for making slushies, not so great for milkshakes; clean-up is NOT a breeze
This was one of the purchases where instead of really thinking about whether I really needed it before hitting order, I simply decided that I did. No major regrets, sort of.We don't do boozy drinks here, so I have not tried all of the settings so far. But, have some success with some, but not all. We first tried to make a creamsicle milkshake on the milkshake setting. This setting did not work for us. We followed the recipe in the recipe book that came with the slushy machine, but it never really firmed up, which was a disappointment because I ended up having to dump the entire batch, the ingredients of which were not cheap. I think part of the problem is that once the liquids begin to firm up, they get bunched up in one corner and causes the machine to shut itself off, I'm guessing to prevent it from overheating. Every time we have used it, it pools in the same right corner, rather than distributing evenly. With the machine constantly shutting off, the milkshake never hit that thick milkshake consistency. It was, at best, a watery slushy. We had better luck with the frozen juice and slushy modes and if you solely want a slushy machine, this worked well. It took about 20 minutes to make frozen lemonade, and everyone liked it; it was about the same amount of time for the frozen apple juice.Putting aside the milkshake mode, my biggest complaint has to do with the clean-up. A lot of reviews will note the speed of clean-up, which could be true if you don't thoroughly clean the spigot part. As I mentioned, we first tired to make a milkshake, which had (obviously) a higher fat content than the juices of lemonades. Those tiny bits of milk fat got stuck in the spigot near the rubber parts, so unless you completely dismantle it, you can not throughly clean it. Believe me, I tried. I tried flushing it with warm, soapy water, but could still see trapped liquid. This went on for at least 15 minutes before I gave up and took it apart so I could clean out the spigot. The silver handle is not metal, it's plastic. How well the plastic will hold-up to the constant dismantling every time you use it, I could not say. But, the plastic feels a bit cheap and I am not super confident. So, yes, it does have a rinsing mode, but especially if you use this to make a milkshake (hopefully more successfully than I), the rinsing mode will not thoroughly clean it so that you just need to clean the reservoir and the blue part that churns and be on your way. It has been a big detractor in my not really feeling motivated to make more slushies.

Amazing for smaller size parties!
The media could not be loaded. This 2 in 1 machine is great for a small party. I was amazed how great the ice cream turned out. It took well under 20 minutes to make and the consistency and texture were on par. The cleaning part was as expected. Washing all the parts and let them air dry. Enjoy!

Fun summer slushy machine
This slushy machine was perfect for summer! There is obviously a learning curve for me, but I like that it came with recipes or I would be lost. The kids were excited to be able to have slushys by the pool on a hot summer day. I am trying to figure out how/where I am going to store it for the winter as it is pretty large, so it will take some planning.

The BEST new treat machine for our household (and EASY EASY cleanup!)
The media could not be loaded. A cola slushie is always a special treat, but running out to the store to get one is a bit of a hassle. That’s why, when I saw this slushie machine, I had to try it.The machine arrives carefully packed in a box, fully assembled. Once I took it out, I started reading the manual and it said it has to sit for a couple hours before the first use because there’s coolant inside. So while it was settling, I washed all the pieces (there are only three!) and grabbed a two liter of cola.I haven’t owned a machine like this before, but it feels like a commercial machine. This isn’t one of those cheap ones with a bunch of plastic parts. It’s metal and thick plastic (for the container). In short, you select one of six modes (slush, spiked slush, frappe, frozen juice, milk shake, or just cold), pour in the ingredients (in this case a two liter cola), and wait. Because I filled it so full, it took about an hour to make the slushie and I probably could have given it another 15 minutes, but I was impatient. It tastes just like the cola slushes at the gas stations or theater! I love it! We poured FIVE tall glasses of them from the two liter and everyone enjoyed. I can’t wait to try more recipes.Perhaps the best part though is the clean up. You can put it on rinse mode to get it to self-clean a bit, but I found it easier to just pop off the container, take out the spinner, and wash both in warm water by hand. Takes all of two minutes. This is a win-win any way I look at it. Highly recommended!
