Can't honestly fault this
I was getting weird readings on my Apple Watch of low SP02 at times during the night. This only records a snapshot every hour or so, so I got this pulse oximeter so I could actually see what was happening. It's easy to set up and use out of the box. It takes 2 AAA batteries and using a decent brand, I get about 10 nights use of this. It stays on securely with the strap overnight and it's very easy to synch it straight to the app in the morning and will hold 40 hours of recording, but synching it every morning clears the memory on the device and transfers everything safely to the phone. The reports are very detailed, you get a summary graph and a second by second breakdown of readings that you can export to excel. It does have an alarm on it that you can set to trigger at a level you choose, it comes preset at 88%. It is loud enough to wake you, most of the time. In a really deep sleep you might not hear it, or at least not register that you have. This has proven that my watch was indeed picking up low readings. I have been able to generate reports that show my sleep with the alarm both on and off and it does seem to indicate the alarm does mostly wake me before it drops too low. The hardest part of all this is actually getting a doctor to take a look at it, thankfully I have private cover and was able to send a selection of reports over and then call them to discuss and get the appropriate next steps started. This device could save your life. I had no reason to think there were any issues with my sleep, so I have to give the Apple Watch some credit for at least for making me aware, but this pulse oximeter gives you the hard evidence you need to show someone when something is off. Well worth the purchase price I feel.

Great oximeter
I am very happy with this oximeter. I have another one, but it does not have the features this one does to collect data as you sleep. I was specifically instructed by my consultant to take night-time readings. The oximeter works very well and stays on securely during the night. The data collected is thorough and easy to collect and read via the app. It can generate detailed reports. Given its functionality, I think the price is very reasonable. All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend.

Accurate, cheap and very easy to use.
Initially cynical about this gadgets accuracy and precision I was pleasantly very surprised at both. I used it for 4 nights initially to find out if it was likely I had sleep apnoea sleeping on my front. Recording both my oxygen levels and my heart rate throughout the night. A low heart rate whilst asleep was a question that also needed answering so it also solved that issue. Clear concise instructions, very easy to use, 2 sets of batteries and ability to transfer data to the app on your phone or laptop for summary reading and transference to print if needed. The unit comfortably stayed on my finger all night. All in all a great little unit and very happy with my purchase. Would highly recommend.

Amazing product 6 stars
Amazing product for the money! Worn it first night, stayed on with no extra finger strap. Easy to use. Instructions incredibly good, clear, comprehensive and carefully written in large writing! Easy to download and connect app. More than 5 stars

Ease of use once I watched video on YouTube
This is day 1 set up day. I found reading the instructions (at 72 years old ) Actions and looking at the pictures werenโt very explicit. How ever once I scanned the code and watched the YouTube vid it made sense. I managed to put the strap on. Then came the pairing or binding as the word they use. I must admit I did not read the instructions and it took 5 attempts to realise ( as per instructions) you dont need your finger in the device. ๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ once it was paired I then read the manual accessed the other devices they sell and looked at the cases available. All look good quality and fair prices. So far it might have taken and hour of my life but at least I accomplished something today ๐๐ผ I will use tonight and update review tomorrow.

Impressive pulse oximeter with overnight storage of pulse rate and SpO2 level taken every second
This is a quality product; it is well-made and its functionality is impressive. The Android app which you can install via the Play Store works fine on my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G and has a well-designed, easy-to-use user interface. The device clamps on a finger like the ones nurses use in hospitals and clinics. It samples SpO2 (blood oxygen level) and pulse rate each second and can store these measurements overnight while you sleep. I simply left the device on my index finger overnight in bed. A roll of black bandage is supplied but I ended up taking it off as the device stayed on my finger all night without it. The red LED light that shines through the finger did not trouble me as it is not bright, and the display itself turns off after 90 seconds anyway. The end knuckle of my index finger was a little sore the next morning where the device had been clamped on my finger, but nothing serious. Although the device has data storage capability, it can be used as a normal pulse oximeter for spot checks as well. To look at it has the appearance of a standard pulse oximeter, albeit the quality of manufacture and materials is noticeably better than a cheap standard pulse oximeter I already have. The device uses two AAA batteries. Four batteries are supplied in the box, as well as a lanyard, a little storage bag for the device, and a user manual. The user manual explains well how to use the device, and there is an e-mail address to contact the manufacturer if you have any questions or problems. I e-mailed the manufacturer with a query and they replied quickly and were helpful. The user manual estimates that a pair of AAA batteries should last for at least three 8-hour measurement periods. It is possible to view, save and e-mail a detailed PDF report showing statistics and graphs of the blood oxygen levels and pulse rates over the measurement period you have had the device on a finger. The report is impressive and looks very professional, and I would not have a problem showing it to a doctor. In my case I was worried that my blood oxygen level was dropping too low while I slept, but the report put my mind to rest. It is also possible to save or share a CSV (comma-separated values) file which you can import into a spreadsheet if you want to examine or analyse the data yourself. The only things that I found that could be improved are: a) sometimes deleting the data stored on the device took a few attempts; b) the user manuals that can be viewed in the app could do with being zoom-able, as the text displayed on a smartphone is tiny (a printed user manual is supplied as well in any case); c) I could not find a way of deleting a user. I do not consider these significant problems, though. Overall I am very impressed with this device.

Its really faulty, after only 2 1/2 months its faulty
It works really well and is actually pretty accurate compared to ones at the Hospital rarely being more than 1-3% out. And great for recording during sleep which helped identify my sleep apnea. However its faulty when uploading results, its happened several times but now I am really upset the past 5 days will not load up at all and I have therefore lost some really important Data

Great little oximeter
Great little oximeter, actually stays on my finger throughout the night which i thought may be impossible as im a fidgeter and dont sleep very well. Heart rate and oxygen reading also match up with my smartwatch so i guess thats a good thing Easy to set up and no problems thus far! Also like that it downloads my readings on to an app which i can also save to my phone and make notes on making easier for me to show my dr and consultants. Came with batteries too!

Very Pleased
I'm very pleased with this device. I researched several at price points between about $60 to $250. This was the cheapest one of those I compared. I decided to try it before going up in price. The setup was quick and easy. Started it at 11pm right before bed assuming I'd get annoyed and wait till morning when I had more energy and brain power, but it was refreshingly easy to get going. The finger grip is comfortable. I replaced another oximeter of the same style but that didn't record and this one was noticeably more comfortable the instant I put it on. I don't need the extra strap, this stays on just fine by itself. After 9 hours of sleep there is just slight discomfort on my finger pad from having it squeezed all night. The next day, the downloading of the data and obtaining of reports was just as quick and easy as the set up the night before. As I use the app and device I am pleasantly surprised by features that are both user friendly and also handy additions. For example, a quick press of the front button will rotate the display so depending on how you tend to hold your hand you can quickly rotate the readout to see it easier rather than having to contort your hand. It just seems like they actually put quite a bit of thought into all aspects of using this. The report is a handy one page summary of the recorded events. You can even add your own notes to the recording which is really handy when it comes to testing and tracking sleep methods that may improve or worsen your events. You can change the oxygen and pulse thresholds to suit your known physical condition. For example if you expect your oxygen to be between a certain high and low, you can set that, and you can set it to alert you at the low. The default low is at 88%. You can turn the alarm on or off. You can add users which I can see being handy if someone else in the house starts having issues. This is already here, ready to go, and the new user can be added without muddying up the data of the original user. My only complaint is I wish this unit were a usb rechargeable one. The gobbling up of batteries will be annoying. I bought a quality brand recharger with batteries and am hoping that will make this more sustainable and I won't have to be forever buying batteries. But, that did add 30 bucks to the cost of this unit. They do provide 4 disposable batteries with the initial unit which helps. My first pair of the disposable batteries, after one full night of recording, still shows full power, so it'll be interesting to see how many nights they last. Overall I'm very pleased with this unit so far. The ease of use (which is so ridiculously uncommon in tech these days) and quality of reports for such a low price point option makes this unit a definite winner. I'm glad I tried this route first before the $200 options and I'd definitely recommend it for someone wanting to track their oxygen and pulse at night.

Great Reporting Function
The function and the app where fantastic. I was impressed by the quality and accuracy of the reporting. It looks like a fully professional sleep analysis. My respiratory doctor was very impressed by the report and it got me out of having to do a hospital sleep study every year. Amazing buy!

You get what you pay for. This is a quality product coming highly recommended.
I'm pretty impressed with this device. I've had 3 similar BT Pulse Oximeters. The first one the display gave out, the second one the BT failed to pair after about 6 months, and this is the third. This is a quality product and surprisingly, the software that comes with it along with the ability to record the data and export it was the tipping point for my purchase. It's about twice what you'll pay for a cheap one, but it works great and the software allows not only a summary report export, but you can also export the raw measurements to OSCAR (professional analysis) software.
