So cute! Sturdy too!
Very cute book with adorable illustrations. The awesome thing is you can find little stuffed solar system toys to match the book and it makes a great gift. Would highly recommend for both little boys and girls.

Cute + unique book, fun for babies to hold
I’ve gifted this book a couple of times now, and it’s always a hit! It’s such a fun change from the usual classics that most baby libraries already have, and the design is brilliant—the little cut-out holes make it easy for tiny hands to grab and flip through. The story is cheerful and colorful, and as a millennial aunt/friend, I can’t help but feel a little wave of nostalgia for the “9th planet” we all grew up with. Sweet, unique, and baby-approved - this is a go-to whenever my husband or I gifts a baby book to friends and family.

Beautiful book.
Beautiful book. The descriptions of the planets are simple and descriptive enough to develop curiosity and interest. This book is visually appealing and well made. Love it for my 6-month-old grandson as he grows!

Amazon should know how to deliver books without damaging.
This is a fantastic book and the back has fun facts, plus a dedication the minor planet Pluto that was not included. If you are Gen-x you know that acknowledging Pluto on the back just warms yor heart. Most of the science info is on the back cover. The board book focuses on naming the planets and the artistry. I think this is great and the extra facts on the back are better for older kids who might want to pretend they are too big for baby books. This is a really beautiful book, but there was damage. The lip is all suffered up and marred (2nd picture) and where you open the book (1st picture) there is already a wear crease. I blame the defects on Amazon, but a cellophane wrap might have helped prevent the damage

Fun Engaging Book
This book rhymes while giving facts about each planet. The colors and pictures hold my 8-month-olds attention. My favorite part is the back where it gives more facts about the planets and gives Pluto a shout out (since it use to be considered a planet). Overall, it's a fun read and I don't mind read it over and over again like other baby books.

==== ==== ==== ==== I have become a real fan of these books, and so has my son. Although he is still a bit young to fully enjoy them, they start very simple, and I am convinced they will help him through the early stages of schooling. Each book in the series starts from the same concept point of a “ball” , something that most children can relate to, and in most cases you can find one around the house to help further visualize the content. The ending of the book can be a bit complex even for the adults but that doesnt stop my son from loving me try to explain what is happening. Good: - Clever books for children and adults - Educational whilst fun - Consistent theme throughout the series Bad: - I'm not sure even I understand. I fully recommend this book and the others in the series to any parent or guardian.
