Feiyu SCORP C2 Camera Gimbal Stabilizer with Built-in AI Tracking

Very good quality Scorp-C2 Gimbal from Feiyutech made from very good materials. I have been using this gimbal for just over two weeks so a short time mostly with a Sony ZV-E1 with a maximum payload of 3.5kg it has easily handled the mirrorless camera and the different lens I have. Of course the better you balance the gimbal the easier it will be on the motors and give you longer battery life. The AI tracking is excellent and this seems to be improving each year if you are shooting on your own just place the gimbal on a tripod and enabled the AI tracking and it is one less thing to worry about. You can use gesture control to start recording/ take an image and framing, there is also the mobile app which you can use to control the gimbal this is another nice touch means you don’t have to keep going back and forth to the gimbal. The buttons, wheel trigger etc are very responsive and has a good feel to it, the gimbal to me personally feels reasonably lightweight but I have used heavier gimbals in the past so this might be why. The gimbal works and works extremely well I don’t really have any bad points about it, if I had to be very picky I would say it would have been nice if it came with a case to store the gimbal in when travelling or even when it is not in use but I’m sure you can get one. Overall I am happy with the gimbal, I feel it is good price for what you are getting and I would recommend it.

Easy to assemble, strong and sturdy. The Feiyutech SCORP-C2 is lightweight and easy to handle and is perfect for creating video content on the go. Easy to use following well detailed instructions. perfect size and more important top quality looks and feels great , for the price can’t fault it, 10 out of 10 from me very happy indeed and would purchase again

Excellent little gimbal, works really well. Doesn't have the removable controller of the more premium gimbals, but still works great attached. Here your camera can easily attach, and it is so simple to set up. You can be shooting in under 10 minutes from getting this at your door. using it to track moving subject, for example a skateboard, this works superbly. Holding it off a bike, tracking a skateboard worked really well. Running with it also results in super stable footage. Try as you might, you seem to always end up with rock solid stabilised footage using this. Build quality oil excellent, really feels premium. Attachments and accessories are plenty, and a 1/4 inch extension port too. Is small enough to be portable, but is not super small. For its size though, it does a great job. Motors are all powerful and it isn't easy to knock it off its balancing forcefully. Overall, very happy and very impressed with it. Will be using it a lot more going forward, and expect it to be part of my kit for a long time.

This SCORP-C2 camera gimbal is an absolutely fantastic tool that truly revolutionises video work. The new AI tracking system is so clever and incredibly fast; it locks onto a subject instantly, delivering precise, dynamic shots even when you are working solo. This feature makes shooting vlogs and detailed movements much simpler. I am particularly impressed by the sheer ease of use. The quick-release plate with its precision scales allows for millimetre-accurate balancing, which saves a wonderful amount of time on location. Swapping between native portrait and landscape orientation happens in seconds, which is perfect for creating content across different social media platforms without fiddling with mounts. The 3.5kg payload is also excellent, handling my mirrorless camera and heavier lenses with stability. The battery life is phenomenal, lasting up to fourteen hours, and the rear integrated handle makes low-angle shots far more comfortable. The OLED screen for checking the gimbal status is another well-thought-out detail. This is a very impressive and robust piece of kit that brings high-quality, stable results to every project at a very affordable prive point.

at 3.5kg the load capacity of this gimbal is class leading nearly and can take some big setups, if you can balance it, it will take it, even my 400mm 4.5 works on this, stabilisation is also very good and weight not too much so it is still very portable, this version is designed more to work with the app and is easy to use and everything is pretty much intuitive to use, overall good value and a great bit of kit.

Weighing just over 1.4kg with the tripod stand, this Feiyutech SCORP-C2 camera gimbal will hold up to an additional 3.5kg, whether that is your camera, a phone or action camera, using a standard Arca Swiss foot plate. I tried it out with a mobile phone, an action camera, an action camera in a cage, a video camera on a 15mm tube system and several cameras and found that as long as the centre of gravity isn't too high, it can cope. It has three, motorised joints, angled so that it will produce a smooth movement as you move around and this does a fairly good job although I did test it with a camera with a 250mm equivalent lens with the camera's image stabilisation turned off and it does take a fraction of a second for the gimbal to start moving - with the camera's image stabilisation on, it is easily good enough and in effect, combining the camera's stabilisation with the gimbal, you eliminate all shake and drift. On the bottom of the gimbal is a quarter BSW socket where you can mount the small tripod that is supplied with the gimbal; or a pole or the Feiyutech carbon fibre extension which isn't supplied with this but does make it handle better for shooting over crowds although the higher it gets, the less control you have over it because you can't reach it. With the legs of the tripod folded together, you have an extra 12cm of handle and with or without the extension, the tripod is big enough to put it on a level floor and it not fall over. Also on this gimbal is an AI feature on the camera mount section and if you do the diver's 'OK' gesture to it, it will follow you around so you can do single person vlogging. With the power on, the light under the lens that has the cyan-coloured metal ring around it (that you can see in the photographs) shines red. When you give it the diver's OK signal, it turns green to let you know that it is activated. When I tried this, it worked most of the time but some times not. With a bit of experimentation, I found that it worked best if I used my left hand although it would work with my right - if I had activated it with my left, it seemed to recognise the next signal better if that was also with my left. I would suggest having a play around with it to find out what works best for you. You set up the balance of the gimbal in four steps: with the camera attached and the lens extended in its working position and horizontal and with the three axes motors locked off - there is a small 'V' support that you can screw into the end of the plate as you can see in some of the photographs - unlock the top one and adjust the forward position of the top until it balances, locking it in place; then, tilt the camera up so that it is vertical and adjust the position of the elbow section with the camera attached, in the grip on the top joint so that it stays vertical (its centre should go through the centre of gravity of the camera and system); then, unlock and adjust the next joint in the same way; then finally, unlock the vertical joint at the bottom and tilt the gimbal on its side, sliding the leg and with it correctly balanced, it should not twist and swing when moved around. Then, lock that off as well. Then, turn it on. There is an alternative method on the app. There are a number of controls including a wheel and a proportional joystick, allowing you to control the gimbal such as the trigger which locks onto a particular orientation and it will stay there as you move the gimbal around - note that this locks the orientation so if the subject is fairly close, any translation in position will show as the subject going off centre or out of shot. The gimbal also has AB waypoints so, with the gimbal secured, possibly on a tripod, you can use the joystick or the wheel to move the gimbal so that it is pointing in the direction of where you want one of the waypoints then press and hold in that button until the display tells you that it is set. Then, do that with the other. With both waypoints set, you can short-press the buttons and the gimbal with go to that waypoint from wherever it was. The smartphone app lets you do what you can do without it but allows access to some extra features. For example, you can set how long it takes to travel to a waypoint; and also, to perform a number of tasks that are not easily accessible from the manual controls on the gimbal itself. One of these is motor power and it will run through a frequency range, measuring displacement so that it knows how much power to apply in a given situation - without setting up the power for a given configuration like this, you can get parasitic oscillations on some systems such as one without much angular momentum such as an action camera. Additionally, the app lets you control the PTZ using an on-screen proportional joystick but interestingly, there is an option to use the inertial system of your phone to control the gimbal orientation, in other words, you rotate your phone and the gimbal follows those changes, allowing you change direction very quickly and accurately because this directional functionality is absolute - you point your phone and the gimbal does the same. Carrying it around could be problematic but it will just about fit in a small camera back pack as you can see in the photograph. However, the cut-out foam that it comes in is the best support for it as moulding it is already done for you. You just need to get a bag that is the right size - at least 29cm wide by 30cm long by 7cm deep for the foam plus anything else you want to put in there. The build quality of the gimbal is very high with metal used where it is needed (it has a quarter BSW socket on the left side with Arri locating holes which is useful for putting a magic arm and a mobile phone holder in as you can see in the photographs) and it has a good battery life - it can be used while it is charging up if you need to. It moves freely and accurately and is strong enough to take cameras that are not particularly well balanced.

En tant que photographe et vidéaste amateur travaillant pour quelques associations, je m'achète régulièrement du matériel supplémentaire, et je recherche d'abord des accessoires accessibles financièrement, sans sacrifier à la qualité des produits. Possesseur d'un hybride Sony A7 avec un objectif 24-70mm (un set d'environ 1,1 kg), je cherchais un stabilisateur capable de supporter une bonne charge utile sans me ruiner chez la concurrence (type DJI RS). Après pas mal d'hésitations et après avoir épluché plusieurs tests sur le net, j'ai voulu tester ce FeiyuTech SCORP-C2. Voici mon retour complet et impartial après plusieurs jours d'utilisation sur le terrain : Ce que j'ai apprécié : - La poignée intégrée "Sling / Anse" : C’est la vraie marque de fabrique de la gamme SCORP. Si vous faites des plans au ras du sol ou en contre-plongée, c'est un pur bonheur. Pas besoin d'acheter une poignée additionnelle, la prise à deux mains se fait naturellement et fatigue beaucoup moins les poignets sur les longs tournages. - Le module de suivi IA (AI Tracking) : Honnêtement, pour un vidéaste solo, c'est un vrai plus. Il capte les gestes de la main pour lancer/stopper le suivi. Plus besoin de passer obligatoirement par l’application sur le téléphone pour se cadrer quand on est face caméra. Le moteur réagit bien et suit sans à-coups. - Moteurs puissants et fluidité : Il encaisse sans problème des configs jusqu’à 3,5 kg théoriques. Sur mon setup d'1,1 kg, les moteurs ne chauffent pas et la stabilisation est ultra fluide (plans en marchant, petites courses, pan/tilt). - Bascule Verticale / Horizontale facile : La platine d'attache rapide permet de passer en mode portrait rapidement pour les formats type Reels / Shorts / TikTok. Les petits points à garder en tête : - L'équilibrage : Si la molette de réglage précis pour l'axe d'inclinaison (Tilt) est super pratique, les autres axes sont un peu plus durs à faire coulisser au millimètre près au début. Prévoyez 10-15 minutes lors du tout premier équilibrage. L'application Feiyu Scorp aide bien avec ses indicateurs de couleur (vert quand c'est bien équilibré). - Pas d'écran tactile complet : Contrairement aux modèles plus haut de gamme (ou à la version non "C"), la version SCORP-C2 va au plus simple avec un écran d'affichage basique. Pour personnaliser certains réglages poussés (vitesse du joystick, etc.), il faut passer par l'appli mobile. - Batterie intégrée : Elle tient très bien la charge (facilement 9 à 10h en utilisation réelle), mais elle n'est pas amovible. Pensez à bien la charger avant un gros tournage. En résumé : Le rapport qualité/prix est tout simplement excellent. Il fait 85/90 % du travail d'un stabilisateur pro deux fois plus cher. Si vous cherchez un gimbal performant, robuste, très ergonomique et idéal pour du tournage en solo avec suivi automatique, foncez les yeux fermés !

J’ai utilisé le stabilisateur SCORP-C2 pendant 3 semaines pour filmer des vidéos avec mon smartphone et mon appareil photo. Voici ce que j’ai vécu : le suivi AI est plutot bon, même en mouvement, et les 3 axes de stabilisation éliminent totalement les tremblements. Il est compatible avec les tous les appareils du marché y compris les smartphones, ce qui le rend très polyvalent. En revanche il ne sera pas compatible avec toutes les configurations, si votre ensemble objectif appareil est trop lourd ca va avoir tendance a forcer, évitez donc de dépasser la charge recommandée maximale de 3.5 Kg. La légèreté et la compacité du stabilisateur en fait un outil facile à transporter et à manier. D'ailleurs l'ergonomie de la poignée est un point fort à souligner, on peut porter la stabilisateur de deux manières ; par son axe central mais aussi par sa poignée écran pour filmer à l'horizontal ce qui est bien plus intuitif je trouve. La batterie tient environ 8 heures, et la recharge est rapide. En revanche, la configuration initiale peut être un peu complexe pour les débutants, et le prix est élevé pour un usage occasionnel, prévoyez de l'utiliser fréquemment pour le rentabiliser. Ce produit est fait pour les créateurs de contenu ou les photographes amateurs qui veulent des vidéos professionnelles sans investir dans du matériel lourd. Je recommande cette marque sans hésiter car elle arrive a faire du matériel fiable et abordable.

Vidéaste amateur passionné, je cherchais un stabilisateur vraiment professionnel capable de gérer mon hybride Sony avec un téléobjectif sans broncher. Ce gimbal 3 axes a largement dépassé mes attentes, et il est devenu mon accessoire indispensable sur tous mes tournages. La fonctionnalité qui m'a le plus bluffé, c'est le suivi IA intégré sans application. La réactivité est quasi instantanée avec une réponse de 0,003 secondes, et la portée de 18 mètres est largement suffisante pour les interviews ou les prises de vue en mouvement. Ne pas avoir besoin d'un smartphone connecté en permanence pour activer le suivi change vraiment le confort de tournage, surtout quand on travaille seul. La capacité de charge de 3,5 kg est un argument solide pour les configurations lourdes. Mon hybride équipé d'un téléobjectif tourne parfaitement sans vibration ni compensation excessive. La stabilisation est fluide, naturelle et vraiment professionnelle, même lors de déplacements rapides. Le passage instantané entre le format horizontal et vertical sans rééquilibrage est une fonctionnalité que j'utilise constamment pour alterner entre mes vidéos YouTube classiques et mes contenus Reels ou TikTok. Un gain de temps considérable sur le terrain. L'écran OLED est clair et lisible même en plein soleil. Les informations affichées en temps réel et les boutons ergonomiques permettent d'ajuster les paramètres sans quitter l'œilleton, ce qui est précieux lors des tournages dynamiques. La plaque à dégagement rapide avec repères de précision facilite le montage et le démontage de l'appareil en quelques secondes. La connexion Bluetooth est stable et réactive, sans latence perceptible. En résumé, un stabilisateur professionnel complet, réactif et vraiment bien pensé pour les créateurs de contenu exigeants. Un investissement que je recommande sans hésiter. 5⭐

Bonjour, c'est un stabilisateur 3 axes vraiment intéressant pour quand on veut passer à un niveau supérieur en vidéo. La capacité de charge jusqu’à 3,5 kg permet d’utiliser un hybride ou un reflex avec un objectif assez conséquent, tout en gardant une stabilisation fluide. Les moteurs semblent suffisamment puissants pour gérer des configurations relativement lourdes sans donner l’impression de forcer. Le gros avantage, pour moi, c'est le suivi IA intégré. Le fait de pouvoir suivre un sujet sans devoir utiliser un smartphone ou une application supplémentaire est vraiment pratique lorsqu’on travaille seul. La commande gestuelle permet également de contrôler certaines fonctions à distance, ce qui peut être utile pour les prises de vue où l’on doit se placer soi-même dans le cadre. Le passage du format horizontal au vertical est également bien pensé. Pour quelqu’un qui réalise à la fois des vidéos classiques et du contenu destiné aux réseaux sociaux, c’est un vrai gain de temps puisqu’il n’est pas nécessaire de refaire tout l’équilibrage à chaque changement. L’écran OLED permet de garder un œil sur les différents paramètres et l’autonomie, tandis que la plaque à dégagement rapide facilite l’installation de l’appareil. En revanche, ce n’est pas un appareil pour quelqu’un qui veut simplement l’allumer et filmer immédiatement. Il y a pas mal de réglages et de possibilités, et un temps d’apprentissage est nécessaire pour vraiment maîtriser l’ensemble. Il faut aussi prendre le temps de bien équilibrer l’appareil et de déverrouiller correctement les axes avant utilisation. Autre point noir si on peut dire ça comme ça, c'est le rangement : vu le niveau de matériel, une vraie mallette ou au moins une housse de transport aurait été appréciable. Le stabilisateur est livré avec les accessoires nécessaires, mais il faut prévoir soi-même une solution pour transporter tout ça correctement.

Ce stabilisateur 3 axes pour appareils photos est qualitatif et fonctionne bien, il me faudra un certains temps d’adaptation pour maîtriser les différents modes afin de l’utiliser de manière optimale ( je suis débutant dans le milieu de la photographie ) 👍. Il est compatible avec plusieurs modèles d’appareils photos tel que Sony / Canon / Nikon / Panasonic / Fujifilm , il faudra tout de même de bien ce référer à la série du modèle d’appareil photos afin d’avoir la certitude qu’ils soit bien compatible. Il permet de stabiliser l’appareils photos sur une position verticale / horizontale / latérale ( cela permet d’avoir une prise de vue bien stable et cadré sur le sujet à photographier ou filmer ), sur sa poignée ce trouve des boutons ainsi qu’un joystick permettant ainsi de contrôler les différents modes et angles de stabilisation, le petit écran intégré affiche le niveau d’autonomie de la batterie ainsi que les différents modes. Sur le support supérieur on retrouve un objectifs intégré qui permet de contrôler les différentes fonctions par la reconnaissance gestuelle gérer par l’IA, avant de l’allumer il faudra toute de même prendre la précaution de déverrouiller les axes de cardan et fixer l’appareil. Il est capable de supporter un appareil photos dont le poids peut atteindre les 3.5 Kg ( poids de l’objectifs compris ), on peut aussi le poser sur surface plate tel qu’une table / un bureau / au sol via son trépied amovible ( l’utilisation d’un plus grand trépied est aussi envisageable ). Fournie avec un câble de charge USB-C / un câble de données ( pour connecter l’appareil photos directement au stabilisateurs via voie filaire ) / un trépied amovible / un supports adaptateurs / plaque a dégagement rapide / outils de fixation avec ses vis / notice d’instructions avec illustration tutoriels et partiellement traduite en français. Conclusion je suis satisfait de ce stabilisateur a 3 axes car il fonctionne bien et son mode de contrôle gestuelle ce révèle pratique pour le gérer à distance, je ne le maîtrise pas encore complètement mais j’ai déjà acquis les base nécessaire pour le faire fonctionner, j’aurais apprécier qu’il soit fournie avec un étui pour le ranger après utilisation, c’est tout de même un bon stabilisateur 👍.
