Natural Conditioner & Moisturizer

This shampoo is fantastic! It takes some getting used to because it doesn't "lather up" like (pretty much) all dog shampoos do. I appreciate the fact that this is a dark (almost black) color, so you can see exactly where you apply it. Once you get used to that lack of lather, you'll love it. The clean scent stays with the dog for weeks! YES WEEKS! My dogs come out squeaky clean and stay that way for longer than any other shampoo I've tried (and I've tried WAY too many). Yes, it is a strong scent but I LOVE Patchouli so that is not a problem for me. When your dog (in my case, dogs) smells like "dog," the minute you step inside your home (no matter how clean it may be), it is the first thing your nose picks up. With this shampoo, my home smells clean (as it should and as it is). I LOVE that my 3 dogs can run out (even in the rain), come back in, and still smell clean and fresh for weeks...(YES, WEEKS). NO wet dog smell! I will continue to buy this product for as long as it's available. BTW, I have 2 white dogs and 1 black and white, so keeping them clean is quite the challenge (except for now with this shampoo)! If you can't get used to the lack of lather, mix it in with your other dog shampoo!! Still will keep your dog smelling so clean.

For a few years now I have been buying this particular shampoo (and its conditioner) for my Pittie because of its safe ingredients and the fact that it's sulfate free. I started out purchasing the Patchouli fragrance, which smells ok. But now there's a new scent, Almond and Vanilla, and I'm over the moon for it. The first bottle (Charcoal, Patchouli) just came off as too overpowering for which I naturally remedy by spraying my dog down with Arm & Hammer Kiwi Blossom Odor Control and coconut oil. Both always do the job! And don't get me wrong, I still use them, but the Almond and Vanilla easily works all on its own. So now, my little girl is hit with a triple dose of greatness! I wholeheartedly thank you Kin+Kind for switching it up and creating a bottle of dog shampoo that I'm now actually excited to use for my furbaby whenever she bathes. She smells how I imagine a female dog should smell, like pure bliss! 🐶

This has been my favorite dog shampoo for years—the patchouli scent is amazing, and the charcoal really helps deodorize. It leaves both of my dogs smelling fresh for days, even with weekly baths. I used to buy it at the pet store, so I’m thrilled it’s now available on Amazon in a convenient 2-pack. Great value for a product that truly works and keeps my dogs clean and smelling great in between washes.

I like almost everything about this shampoo it cleans well and brightens the colors but I’m not a fan of how the patchouli smells..Otherwise it’s great!

My pup has sensitive skin and also likes to roll around in bird and elk droppings when he gets the chance. Needless to say, he’s bathed frequently. Some shampoos make him Itchy and his skin red. He enjoys frolicking in the woods and returning with little scrapes that he licks until they turn to hot spots, then scabby wound areas that take months to heal. I mix this shampoo with unscented oatmeal and aloe shampoo, which takes down the sandalwood smell of this shampoo. It keeps him from over licking and avoids his hot spot problems and leaves him so soft and snuggly. I also LOVE the smell. It’s very natural, but somewhat strong. The bottle doesn’t say what essential oils they use, but I think it’s a combination of sandalwood and patchouli or something like that. It’s a warm, earthy, incense smell that I just love. It’s a bit potent on it's own, so I recommend mixing it with something unscented, which makes it last longer as well. I work a lot with essential oils and my pup can’t stand them. He usually scurries away when I’m working with them. He doesn’t mind the smell of this shampoo though. I highly recommend!

Smells great! Keeps my pups smelling good. Easy to rinse out and doesn’t seem to bother their eyes.

I know it's a little pricey but trust me when I say - this stuff is WORTH IT. We have two Olde English Bulldogges that are brothers. They play rough. They slobber all over one another and run around the yard, kicking up rocks and rolling / wrestling in the dirt. Because of this, they get baths every 2 weeks. I love that a little bit of this soap really goes a long way to penetrate deep into their wire-y hair - and it's the only pet shampoo I've ever used that actually LASTS. I continue to smell it on them for days after baths - so much so that we call them our "Handsome Gentlemen" because it's a very earthy, masculine, clean smell. Almost like doggie cologne. Love it so much that I bought the freshening spray by this same brand to use at the halfway point between baths. I hope Kin + Kind NEVER stops making this!!!

This is a lovely gentle shampoo for our pooch it smells lovely and makes are little dogs coat lovely and shiney.

A bit under expensive side, but Smells amazing.

Fantastic product! This shampoo left my large breed dog clean, smelling superb (at least for now), and the softest he's ever felt. My dog loves to roll around in the grass and his white patches of fur had become discoloured. They are now gleamingly white! Great product at a good price point. I highly recommend this product!
