Plug & Play Controller – Works Flawlessly on PC
I recently bought the 8BitDo Ultimate C Wired controller, and overall it’s been a really solid experience, especially for the price. The first thing I noticed is the build quality. It feels sturdy and well-made, not cheap or plasticky like many budget controllers. The grip is comfortable even during long gaming sessions, and the button layout is very familiar if you’ve used an Xbox-style controller before. The analog sticks are smooth and responsive, with no noticeable dead zone issues so far. In terms of performance, it works great for PC gaming. Plug-and-play setup makes it super easy to use—no complicated drivers or setup required. I’ve used it for a mix of games including shooters and racing titles, and the input response has been accurate and consistent. The triggers and bumpers feel satisfying, though slightly less premium compared to higher-end controllers. The wired connection is both a pro and a con. On one hand, there’s zero input lag and no need to worry about charging. On the other, the cable might feel limiting if you prefer a wireless setup or sit far from your system. One small downside is the lack of advanced features like customizable profiles or extra back buttons, but at this price point, that’s expected. Overall, the 8BitDo Ultimate C Wired is a great value-for-money controller. If you’re looking for a reliable, no-frills controller for PC gaming, this is definitely worth considering.

A Very Premium Experience At Half The Cost
The controller is fantastic. The build quality is very premium. From textured grips to the smooth metallic joysticks, everything screams premium. The materials used are very premium and it just blew me away. You won't find any cheap plastic creaking noises here. Now I come from a Redgear Pro wired controller. They don't even sell those anymore. So, this is a huge upgrade over that. I chose the dark green option, which imo is the best. The dark grey and the orange variants look very cool as well. The D pad is subtly clicky, it's like a mouse click but on a membrane, it feels very good, the D pad doesn't just get subdued when you press, there's a very subtle click which is awesome. It has switches inside the D pad that give it this clicky nature. It feels way better than a membrane D pad The joysticks are hall effect which give very precise movements. They are metallic, so the circular movements when rubbing against the plastic ring feel very smooth. The ABXY buttons feel very good, they're tactile enough and give a good resistance when pressed. The triggers feel excellent. Since this is an Xbox certified controller, it does come with the Impulse Triggers not found in other normal controllers. The triggers are very precise and have the perfect sensitivity. However, you do need to enable Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver in Steam to feel the haptics in the triggers themselves. They have good resistance and if you combine it with the xbox trigger haptics, you have something kinda close to the PS controller. Although most developers don't implement trigger haptics for games on PC. You will feel trigger vibrations in supported games through the Xbox app, and through Steam if you have the driver enabled. Bottoming out of the triggers also feels solid, and is just a good experience overall. Apart from this, the vibration motors are excellent and very finely tuned. I compared both my Redgear controller and the 8bitdo in Shadow of the Tomb Raider while drawing an arrow. Needless to say, the vibrations on the 8bitdo controller while pulling the bowstring felt entirely different and werr very detailed. On the other hand, the vibration of the Redgear controller was very feeble. It's not a difference of intensity, rather a difference in character. The vibration on the 8bitdo was nuanced and had different notes at different stages of pulling the bow, rather than being just a dull constant rumble. The bumper buttons are also clicky, again, a very subdued premium click. Not plastic-y at all. They also have switches. The back of the controller has micro grooves to give your sweaty palms an easier time gripping the controller and the overall fit and finish is excellent. They supply a very long USB C cable, I think around 2.5 meters in length, along with the controller. It's very thick and doesn't tangle at all. Although the USB port on the controller won't accept all USB C cables due to its ovoid shape. With the official cable, you will have to struggle to pull it out every time. My recommendation is to use an off brand USB C cable that has a smaller housing at the connector so that you can pull it out easily and not feel like breaking something everytime you do so. The polling rate is 250 Hz on the wired connection which is the only connection, lol. 250 Hz is absolutely fine, given that the Xbox standard is 125 Hz. The shape of the controller differs a bit from the standard Xbox design. While the Xbox controller is more wide, has a wider V shape, this controller on the other hand is more rectangular. I like both the shapes and one isn't better than the other. However if you place your controller very close to you, I feel like the more boxy design of the 8bitdo is a little bit more comfortable to me. Now let's talk about the RGB fire rings. They have a few different modes, and each of those modes have different colors in them. You can configure the RGB on the controller to follow your joystick movements and trigger presses, have them go round and round, have a solid color, or turn them off completely. You can even adjust 3 levels of brightness of the rings. They look really cool. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Using after one week (AAA game on long session around 8 hours)
Honestly it feels really good for the price. It’s small and very comfortable in my hands, so I can play for long sessions without any strain. The design looks clean and slightly glossy, which gives it a nice shining premium feel. Since it’s wired, I don’t have to worry about charging, just plug and play anytime. The buttons are responsive and the sticks feel smooth enough for my regular gaming. Overall, for under ₹3k, I feel it’s a solid and stylish controller that does the job really well.

satisfied but trigger length and travel mm could've be better
Excellent controller, superior analog grips and quality ,mechanical bumpers and d pad Cons- analog trigger button less in length and key travel mm tahn standard controllers but has the full sensitivity but it's hard to maneuver from 70 percent to 100 percent range even after calibration Manufacturing control issues especially with RB , 1st one was not working properly the replacement was working fine but makes a lot of squeezing noise on press, I decided to keep it as the mechanical bumpers were working fineWish the XYAB buttons were mechanical as well .. Impulse triggers shine on forza games

Cute & affordable Xbox controller.
Very nice & aesthetic controller. Cable length has sufficientl length. Trigger vibrations are good but don't expect dual sense like vibrations. Green color is best and 1 month game pass ultimate is bonus.

Probably the best wired controller
I was expecting a wireless controller, but I got this. Which came with a long usb C to A cable. I thought it was for charging, but it isn’t. Now I have a very long charging cable which I never knew I needed in my life. The controller is amazing. Better than any redgear one I had bought before. This is my third controller and very honestly I have no problem with the wire. The lights on the controller have a really satisfying glow and halo to them. The lights made me realise that the trigger has 10 levels of sensitivity depending on how deep you press it. Never knew of this before. I dropped it once right after taking it out of the box so maybe that’s what has made the right trigger click strangely. Idk how to fix that. Maybe I’ll open it sometime. Overall amazing controller. It’s fully plastic so it can become slippery in sweaty hands.

It's the best for pc
It has very good vibration I was finding a premium controller understand 3000 without any extra features because it makes controller feel cheap and it is a minus point that it is wired but if you have to get one thing you have to loose something. I totally recommend if you want a controller with only premiumness and best vibration

Works with Linux (not mentioned on the official website nor box literature)
Works with GNU/Linux Debian "Bookworm" LTS 12 right away after installing the xboxdrv package. For Debian-based systems (Ubuntu, Linux Mint, etc), you'll install it like so: sudo apt-get install xboxdrv Very happy with the build quality. Steam plays nicely with it, I'm specifically playing Cyberpunk 2077 with no issues. This controller replaces a Jamswall Xbox Wired Controller, bought on Amazon and used lightly for 4 years (developed stick drift and the internal wires in the cable started failing, experienced frequent disconnects). The LED rings are a nice touch. Will update if/when this controller fails. Happy with the magnetic "Hall Effect Joysticks", as these are supposedly wear-impossible (no friction points, unlike traditional joysticks that use a potentiometer).

Mando perfecto.
Un producto excepcional, me a encantado desde el minuto cero. Yo uso mando Xbox y este se adapta genial no hecho de menos el original. Volveré a comprar otro para tener un segundo mando. Calidad y precio perfecto, para su precio.
