Works as described
Works as described. Seems to have a safe mode for low battery takes about 2 hours to charge my vans lithium battery. Easy to use and set up keep in mind you need the Bluetooth module if you want the phone app.

Worthwile additioon to keep coach battery charged safely
Swapped the battery manager in my class C RV with this. I had some issues with the default battery manager in that it would allow both the chassis battery and the coach battery to be completely drained. I had an issue first camp trip of the spring, my chassis battery had an internal short somehow. So it was basically discharging itself all the time. Well, after its voltage dropped the original battery manager allowed the chassis to completely drain my coach battery. Another trip a couple years ago I forgot to turn on my solar panels, and after a few days the coach battery drained my chassis battery. So I figured the better solution is to use this DC-DC charger. This way when I'm driving the coach battery is getting charged. But it doesn't work the other way, so there's no way for either battery to drain the other.

Great unit that works well butโฆ
I have a few Renogy products and they work well. I took a chance on this and it works well however, if I set it (via the app with Bluetooth adapter) to 20a it will charge then drop and do that over and over. When I set it to 10a it stays charging without any issues. The size is great and connections are solid, just the 20a part is not working as it should.

Works as described so farโฆ.
I used this device to integrate LiFePo4 batteries into an older RV. It charges the LiFePo4 bank from an existing solar charging lead-acid battery bank and my onboard old style converter. Works great in ideal conditions. Real test will be in November in 20 degree weather. Will update then!

Perfect rv charging to battery bank
Perfect power management for my truck to trailer installation. Easy to install and configure. The price is high but the quality is superior with the metal casing. I add the Bluetooth adapter for remote visibility and app configuration.

Not Designed for Towing Trailers
I Installed this in my trailers, and when I connected the 7-way plug from the trailer to the truck, the DC-DC 20 charger 20A would start charging my lithium batteries. My amp meter showed the current rise to about 15 amps and then drop straight to 0. The charger kept shutting off. The 10 AWG wire from the alternator back to the 7-way trailer connector couldn't supply enough current for a full 20-amp charge. The input voltage would drop from 14.0 volts down to 11 volts, which caused the charger to stop charging.. There is a 10-AMP setting, but you have to buy the $30 BT-2 adapter (not included) to change the output current from 20 amps to 10 amps. When I changed it to 10 amp via the extra cost of the BT-2 adapter, it works fine and provides 10 amp of charging. If the BT-2 adapter had been included, I would have been happy to give this item more stars. This charger is better suited for VANS or motorhomes that do not run through a 7-way RV connector and can use thicker wire.
