Have several of these, work well
This little item mounts securely to rail and has been a really effective way to use to catch brass from my rifle. Have several of these on several uppers, and use with one Cadwell mesh brass catcher. Zipper on bottom works well also to empty spent cartridges into bump pouch or bag.

Nice, but could be improved
I found an instance where these factory mounts don't work very well. I mean I like the Caldwell design, and can't imagine being without it. I have low scope mount for my Leupold with “target turrets”. These stick out, and interfere with the attachment. Only a teeny bit of sliding mount was engaging. So I did some milling and drilling and came up with an extended version. I already had a blank Picatinney rail, and used a piece of it. I bought 8-32 spring-loaded ball plungers from McMasters, and these gave just the right tension. I have two evenings of work into it, and it works perfectly. Caldwell should offer an extended version; in my opinion.

Great to have one for each rifle.
I reload ammunition and having a brass catcher is a must. This Caldwell picatinny bracket means I only need one brass catcher that can be used on all of my AR15s. Reasonable price and easy to install. I have 4 of them, one for each rifle.

If you have multiple firearms with a picatinny rail on the top, this little piece of metal is a must have for anyone who takes multiple firearms to the range and want to save their brass. The Caldwell brass catcher works great, it mounts to any picatinny rail and holds a fabric basket over the ejection port. If you have multiple firearms it makes it much more convenient to place one of these mounts on each of them instead of having to unmount/remount every time you switch guns. Very useful.

Zum Artikel gibt es vermutlich nicht viel zu sagen. Macht was er soll in gewohnter Qualität. Allerdings ist der hier aufgerufene Preis schon wirklich heftig und in keinster weise nachvollziehbar.

Great little unit. I mounted this on a different gun so I may use the Caldwell Brass Catcher without having to take this off and reinstall every time I switch guns.
