Would buy again
I have owned several different shredders. My last one was a Fellowes. Since the thing lasted so many years, I decided on another Fellowes, though this one is an upgrade. Wow. I am fully impressed. The automatic document feed makes shredding large volumes easy. I am shredding so much more quickly than before. The microcut makes me feel more secure about the paper waste; no one will want to put these confetti back together.I haven't shredded credit cards, but I did put in paperclips (manual feed). Most of my statements came folded in envelopes and are not flat when unfolded. The automatic feed took care of them. When the bin is full, it tells me. I just pull it out and empty; the top does not need to be lifted. It ran for quite a long time before overheating. We just have to let it rest for half an hour and then it's ready to roll again. This was a great purchase. I would buy it again.

Does the job.
First one was defective. The company responded quickly with a second and arranged return shipping of the first. Works great, to get good auto feeding you must load stack to the front of the box. As long as you do this feeds fine. You will fill the basket fast, you can extend capacity by pressing the shredded paper down occasionally. It really meets my needs. Customer service was outstanding.

SHRED BY THE STACK OR MANUAL, YOU CHOOSE
I like this shredder. When you have a lot of shredding to do the stack and walk away feature is the best. The auto feed feature should have been created years ago. It's really nice not having to manual feed a lot of files. One thing I do notice it does have a burning smell. I don't know if this is just because it is new or not. I will give it more time with testing. Even though it has a large bin to hold the shredding it does fill up fast. I like the fact that is shreds the paper to almost nothing. The one thing I wish it did do is shred label sheets or stickers. Sometimes junk mail has stickers etc. on the paper. Do to the cost of this pricey machine I would not want to ruin the machine for a lousy sticker or a label. The auto feed feature is great if you have paper that is NOT stapled together. It is quiet, but still loud enough to interfere with other tasks - such as listening to the news program, radio, talking on the phone. But if your not doing those things it won't matter. Would I recommend this to anyone? Yes, I would. It is not a monster machine, but it does the job for a very small office or to use in your home for personal use.

Horrible!
I purchased this in February, 2017. It is now November, and I’ve had a chance to use this for a while. All I can say nice is, “horrible shredder”. This is one of my worst purchases on Amazon, and frankly, I’m embarrassed that I paid this much for this piece of trash. I run a small business out of my home, and I needed a shredder that could shred multiple pages per load. I follow all directions, especially the oiling after dumping requirement, because I want this thing to last and do it’s job efficiently. Well, this is a fail. This doesn’t seem powerful enough to “drop” the shredded paper into the bin effectively, meaning that I am CONSTANTLY opening the bin and “wiping” the tight balls of shredded paper off of the cutters. Also, if you’re shredding perfectly straight paper, you have around a 30% chance of successfully shredding a load, but no guarantee. I even wasted new paper right out of the pack - only around 20 sheets - put that in the stacked bin, aligned with the front, and it STILL bunched up and needed me to not only wipe off the balled up paper on the cutters, but I actually had to reverse and forward and pull paper out! This was paper right out of the pack!!! I had two shredders going, an older model of a different brand that only shreds around 5 sheets at a time, and this one. This one required me to keep stopping to clear, while the other was chewing up paper without missing a beat. The only reason I’m even looking at this today is because I was reviewing my original purchase to see if I got the warranty. This thing is super heavy, so returning it and trying to get the manufacturers warranty is going to be a major hassle, but weighed against the hassle of using this thing, it’s worth it to pursue my money back.

Works Great
I have had my Fellows shredder for quite some time now, but I just decided to give it a review. We installed it in our home office and we really can't imagine not having it. So many items you just don't want to just tear something up and this shredder really does the job. I can either use the automatic feeder and place a stack of papers in it or use the single sheet feeder and place up to 5 sheets; but either way, the job gets done. I love it and give it a 5.

Lots of money, minimal value for the money - Update
The good news: It does seem to handle staples without any problem. I have removed paperclips for the most part, but some may have slipped in. If so, they were handled OK too.The bad news: It is much slower than my 15+ year old NoviTech shredder for small quantities of pages to be shredded. There is a 2-3 second pause when putting in individual sheets, then it runs much longer than necessary to "digest" the paper shreds. When using the hopper, it doesn't handle more than about 10-12 pages of stapled materials without jamming. The 25 minutes of cool down is really annoying. It does get very hot, but a small internal fan would really shorten the time, I'm sure, and for nearly $350, it should have that fan!I wanted a relatively strong machine for a home office, and it probably is, but so far, I'm not happy with the speed and the cheapness of the construction (cardboard bin, and thin, delicate plastic cabinetry.)Does it work? Yes, BUT... for the price, I would have expected better quality, speed and reliability.

She's not petite
My prior shredder was a Fellows and lasted for years! So I went with the same manufacturer. I wasn't sure about the price point (not cheap) but with today's market, I knew a good product would cost more that $150. I am very happy with many elements of this shredder (it's very quiet). The self feeder is nice too. It is larger than my last, especially for a home product, but I anticipate use for years to come. High hopes on my ROI.

Costos y no aguanta
No aguanta, ni 6 meses de uso moderado, y ya no funciona... sin soporte o garantia... no vale los $15,000 pesos pagados

Great little shredder and great product support
Very pleased with this shredder. The automatic sheet feeder is a real time saver. Had a minor issue with the shredder that was shipped and this was addressed promptly by Fellowes. Outstanding product support.

good office shredder
The bin gets filled very quickly. You'd be surprised at how few sheets will fill the bin but really good machine nevertheless. Simple to use, not too noisy.
