DO NOT BUY THESE!!
The company says they take pride in their boots. Well...I want to cut my feet off and I can't get a reply from them. These boots hurt your feet SO bad (I don't have sensitive feet) I work as a ground crew for a tree service and climb. This is the worst boot I've ever had, the insoles are pretty much just a flake of cardboard too. So... Now I wasted my money and still need a pair of boots. I just wanted to try "the best". Apperently Carolina is better...

Poor construction. Used once with problems such as leather tear and water leakage.
These boots look well made. I was very upset that this is a USA brand, with a USA price, but are actually made in Vietnam. It shows in the craftsmanship and poor stitching. I owned a pair of Danner’s RAT boots when with the USMC in AFG and thought I was getting a similar product for the same price point. The Danner’s are good boots, but carried bad memories. I wanted something similar in quality and made in the USA, but a slightly different style. Very disappointed in Chippewa.

Best boot ever owed and I've been through a number of sets including most of your most popular brands. These are by far the best yet. On my 2nd pair now and plan to continue purchasing them. Very comfortable for those long days. I work in a shipyard environment and I'm on my feet for 12+ hours a day. With these boots my feet stay dry (with an additional application of some snow seal) all day. Tons of support and seems to feel fairly light for an 8" logger. Only issue i have found with them is the laces that are supplied with the boot. They don't seem to last more then a few weeks. With that said I always order a pair of 84" brown ironlace boot laces that have a life time warranty with them. Cant speak for all but my feet tend to run on the hot side so if u are thinking of the insulated version of these boots u may want to think twice because these boots keep my feet pretty warm for being non insulated. That is in temperatures lows as 15 degrees F. And i do work outside most of my day. Keep it up Chippewa!

Good boot if you can find them on sale under $209
Pretty good boots as long as you pay less that $200 for them. I paid $185 and so far have worn them for about 9 months as a mason which is a ver tough trade for leather boots. I will buy another pair when the price is right. $250 is way too much for these at that price I’d rather get a pair of Danners. (Also I highly recommend treating them once a week, I use Obenauf’s and it makes a big difference)

Good quality boots
Theses are good quality boots. The initial fit was tight across the foot, but they relaxed very fast and are very comfortable. Plenty of toe room. I wanted a pair without the steel toe, so I ordered these because it didn't say anything about having such. When I received them, they had a steel toe so I reread the description. In the "fine print" it labeled them as steel toe. No one's fault but mine. So read the fine print! I gave it a 4 star rating because they should make that clear in the heading like others do.

Best there is.
Still the best boot ever 4 pairs in. I’ve now had 4 pots of these and they’ve always been amazing. This is the first steel toed version I’ve had and I’ve gotta say they’re just as amazing. Most comfortable, best wearing boot money can buy.

Great Comfortable Boot
I have had these for a little over a weak , Wow they fit perfect and are for the most part broken in . they flex well and are defiantly waterproof! o wore them in the wash bay where i work and they got soaked whereas the boots of the wings of red i had would have leaked into my socks these did not. the laces on these boots are a good quality feel as well. i will update periodically throughout the age .
