Awfully good pliers
Klein 213-9NE high-leverage pliers are as good as any pliers I've found, and since I bought my first pair in 1989 I've used them to cut and tie literally miles and miles of #9 wire, in addition to building miles and miles of barbed wire fence. They may cost more than some other brands, but they are well worth the price difference.

There is a super thin tapered sliver of daylight between the cutting edges when closed. Squeeze and the daylight (at the top) goes away. Its not a problem but the old Klein's didn't do that.
