My apartment is small but also comes with the laundry lines in the back the installation and connection was just plug and play. Simple as hot to hot, cold to cold, plug in electricity, and drain house to water spot. Tried it with a few different loads already and it does a pretty good job on cleaning everything. Spin power is good from the settings i tested it with so far and the clothes come out fairly dry, if you have a dryer it be super fast, my apartment doesn't have that so I hang dry and clothes are pretty much good to wear the next day. The machine has a lot of functions so depending on how heavy your clothes are or what you are washing. Only downside I would say is that it does tend to use a bit more water compare to a full size front load machine. Review: Almost Perfect, CHEAP DRAIN HOSE! - Was so excited to finally stop having to go to the laundry mat or use the awful washer and dryer in my complex. I was so worried about this purchase because of all the different reviews (damaged, or leaking, or making to much noise). I opened the box it was perfect, no dents on the washer like some people said happened to theirs. I got everything set up, it was super easy and comes with all the parts you need for your sink. I followed the instructions and did a test cycle with no clothes or soap. It filled up with no problem, nice and quiet, no loud noise and not leaking for the back hose. then when it went to empty the water, it started leaking everywhere from the drain hose at the bottom of the washer. Turned it off in time so it didn't flood my bathroom but still took me 4 towels to clean up all the water. I looked at the hose and there were two holes in the drain hose. The hose is very thin and poorly made. For a $350 washer you would think they could make a sturdy hose considering it may be moving. (most people in apartments have to move the washer from the sink and store it somewhere else) And no I didn't damaged it or hit the hose against anything. It has been hanging on the side of the washer since I took it out of the box. If it was as simple as just buying a better hose the same size and fixing it myself, I would have. But the hose goes inside the washer and I am not going to risk damaging anything inside the washer. I started the return process today, it was super easy. desertcart sends someone to your house to pick it up for free so you dont have to worry about trying to return it yourself. They give you options of a date and time to have someone come pick it up. You of course still have to wait for your refund until it gets picked up but the return process has been super easy.

Powerful Little Washer
I've had this washer for a week, so I'll update if anything dramatically changes, but this is one of my best purchases to date. I have a senior dog that could live for another 5 years, maybe more. (Gotta love dachshunds). She's struggling with incontinence, and we're to the point where a dedicated washer became necessary. I can't be running my other washers 8 hours a day (2 clean cycles) to feel comfortable putting my clothes back in. So we bought this, and it is a BEAST. I use powdered detergent and Biz, which has rid everything we've put into the washer of pee smell. I put our washable 14 ft runner into our regular machine instead of spot treating after a really bad day, and it did not clean the runner to the degree needed. It was kind of bulky, but the 1.7 was able to handle it, to my surprise. Not only that, but it cleaned the rug 40 minutes faster than our clothes washer, and it was truly completely clean when we took it out. The hoses are short, but that's an easy enough problem to remedy. Someone on here said to buy those wire mesh traps to put on the drain hose, and I definitely echo that sentiment, especially if you have dogs. The hair has the capacity to clog your drain, and it does get spit out. Miraculously, the machine doesn't smell at all, despite what we've been aggressively using it for. With my Samsung, one wash with a pee pad and there's an odor in the drum that takes a full self-clean cycle to get rid of. Not this thing, apparently. Maybe because I only use cold water? Who knows. This machine has made my life so much easier, and I'm thankful for it. I hate that her incontinence has felt like a burden, because you want to cherish those last years while you have them...not be frustrated for things outside of both of your control. Who knows how long it'll hold up with 1-2 loads a day, but if it does for six months, this thing will pay for itself.

Confusing to program, hard to move.
It's hard to move from place to place as it has to be tipped on to the back wheels. Plus, has to be reprogrammed for each load. My clothes do come out clean. I find the delay start feature confusing - why would anyone fill the washer with clothes and then wait 2 hours to have them wash? I also found that when I programmed the machine for a normal load, sometimes it took about 30 min. and sometimes 2x that long.

Initial Review Before Actual Use! (Will Update Soon!)
I hesitated for weeks before ordering this washing machine from Amazon. I don't mind going through the return process for something that is easy to package and drop off at my local UPS. The thought of having to return this washer for whatever reason gave me a mini panic attack. My biggest concern was it arriving with dents. I am happy to report that this was not the case. Not even one minor scratch or dent. This was not due to the packaging, which does not provide enough protection. Arriving dent-free has more to do with how it's handled during delivery. I got lucky there. This washing machine is going in my tiny house on wheels (when the build is finished) but I wanted to give it a try before my return window closed. So I hooked it up to my kitchen faucet. I didn't need to buy anything for this. The included attachment fit. Whether this is the case for you will depend on the type of faucet you have. Mine is an inexpensive but relatively new faucet. I wasn't expecting to have an issue. I didn't use any tools. I just hand-tightened the attachment to my sink, screwed the hose to the attachment then the other end to the "cold" inlet on the back of the washer. Turned on the cold side of my faucet and did the test run (rinse, drain) that is suggested in the owner's manual. It is suggested to use a wrench (a quarter of a turn) after hand-tightening everything but I didn't bother. I was planning to stand next to the machine the entire time to watch for leaks. Another happy report -- No leaks! (I'll use the wrench when I install the machine properly in my new tiny house). After the test cycle, I put in a medium size load with some detergent. We will see how that goes. I value reviews of products more when the reviewer has actually used the product for an extended period of time. I'll update this review after a couple of months of consistent use. Noise - This was a concern for me since the machine will be in a tiny house. The machine makes a variety of noises. You can hear it vibrating during the spin cycle. You can hear the water sloshing back and forth during the wash and rinse cycles. During these two cycles, you also hear the sound of the drum rotating. You can hear the water when it runs into the machine and when it drains out. I would not want to have a conversation with someone while sitting next to this machine in operation but none of the sounds it makes are offensive. It's a washing machine. It sounds like a washing machine. It will be at one end of my tiny house (bathroom). With the door closed, I don't expect to hear much, and certainly not enough sound to be bothersome. Appearance - I like the clean and simple design. The buttons are easy to push and make it simple to select a variety of different cycles. The door has the "soft close" feature which is unnecessary but a nice, added feature. I admit that this feature did influence my decision to purchase this model. (It's the little things :). Portability - The machine has 2 wheels in the back. When this is sitting flat on the floor, you won't be able to roll it anywhere. It sits solid and doesn't move without effort. I needed to move it off a rug in my kitchen before I did the test run so I just sort of shimmied it back and forth until it was off the rug. If you need to move it farther than a few feet, you stand behind the machine, reach around the sides until you find the hand gripes located close to the front of the machine, and then tilt the machine back towards you. You keep tilting it back until you feel the wheels engage (the machine will begin to move so you'll know). At this point, you can very easily move it. I suffer from chronic pain from degenerated discs and I had no issues wheeling this machine from my living room to my kitchen.
