El mapa contiene gran cantidad de información cartográfica, nombres de países y gran cantidad de ciudades y, a pesar de su escala están representados los principales ríos y las grandes cordilleras definidas por las placas tectónicas, océanos y mares en los que han representado las zonas más y menos profundas. Aprecio mucho la representación con los paralelos curvos, teniendo así una mejor percepción del tamaño de los continentes y países en las áreas del extremo Norte y Sur.El tamaño es manejable en un escritorio o tablero de pequeñas dimensiones.

National Geographic has always made the READABLE maps
A perfect classic map at a GREAT PRICE. This map is a standard size too which made it easy to go to Michaels or a craft store with standard size poster frames that are very inexpensive. Having a world map in the house satisfies that "where is that?" question when reading something in international news, and gives a great context perspective. It is most important to have this for your kids. The world is so small now; best to know your way around.

Best world map.
Great map. I like this projection - seems more accurate to size than regular map projections. Good colors and detail. I purchased this along with a cork board and some pins to show where I've been, and now I've got a great conversation piece on the wall!

Awesome map by National Geographic. Most cities with an airport can be found on the map.

Outdated, too much map devoted to water.
I ordered a 2023 and got a 2019.Taiwan's country name is not bolded like the rest and is assigned the same color as China. Wtf? Not cool. Hard to read. 1/5 of the map is empty Pacific Ocean and all the countries are squished and hard to read. Very disappointing, especially from nat geo.
