WEPS05 - is there any video or info showing how the wireless connects to the smart phone?

We apologize, but we don’t have a video at this time. We are working on some tutorial videos that we hope to be available in the spring. You should be able to download the software from our website or the Apple store. Then find the WEPS device and connect. Then the sensor will start transmitting data.

what is the bluetooth range of this unit? I have a well pump that is about 100' away from the house.

Up to 300 feet with Line of Site. In other words, if there are no obstructions, it can be 300+ feet away. If you can mount the sensor at least 4' above the ground you will see the longest range. If it is < 1 foot above the ground, the range can be compromised. Good luck on your project!

Android app doesn't work

Wanted to get the made in the USA product. It seems to be pretty nice construction. However, without a display, you need the app to work and work well...and it doesn't seem to work at all. It seemed my phone was able to connect with it on Bluetooth, but when I'd open the app it just says "searching" indefinitely. There are a couple different apps of similar names (each $5 mind you); I tried both and both failed to ever connect. Couldn't find any troubleshooting resources on their website. Only plus side is they at least refunded my app purchases. Maybe you'd have better luck with iPhone but it was a dud on Android.
