🎛️ Unlock vintage vibes with modern modular mastery!
The Bellinger ABACUS Eurorack Synthesizer Module is a compact, 20HP module inspired by the legendary Buchla Model 275 and 281. It offers versatile signal processing—amplification, attenuation, integration, and reversal—while detecting system events to generate unique effects. With 4 CV inputs for complex modulation and efficient power consumption (60mA@+12V, 50mA@-12V), it’s a must-have for forward-thinking modular synth enthusiasts.

Un clone du mythique module "math" de Make noise. Pas la plus belle interface, mais semble t-il que c'est un clone 100% identique au niveau fonctionnalités

So, many people are very upset that Behringer has copied an exhisting product, and I get that. However, if someone is trying to get into modular and can not afford the "real thing" then I feel they should have the option to get something affordable to them, in any case they were either going to but this one or nothing at all, so in the end is the company really missing out in that case? I feel the product is well made, though I would have liked to have the pots secured to the face plate, and also bigger knobs on the attenuverters. It does function exactly how one would expect, and even though it is a clone, it gets the job done. I have had the OG one in the past, but could not justify keeping it around, I picked one of these up mostly to see how it compared, and am impressed by the 1:1 function vs the OG unit. Do I think it is "right" to clone a product that is currently being sold? No I do not, but I also know how expensive Eurorack can be, and it can be a barrier to entry to people who really want to get into the "hobby" but are on a limited budget, and I think that is who these products are introduced for, right or wrong as it may be, they are probably not buying from MN anyway.

It's a perfect clone of Make Noise Maths for a fraction of the price. I have owned both at the same time and can say they function 100% the same. However Maths has larger knobs for the 4 attenuator inverters. One one hand this makes Abacus more fiddly to use and on the other hand it's easier to accidentally catch them on Maths. Pros and cons of each. Behringer build quality is totally fine, yes it's not as robust as some eurorack brands. But neither is make noise maths

Fantastic Swiss Army knife with endless modulation configurations for your Eurorack setup. Just take a look at the many related YouTube videos for inspiration for using this must have gem.
