The spice level has just enough kick to really enjoy. I dont like truely hot and spicy things myself but this has, on a scale of 1 to 10. (Not spicy at all to Fire on your tounge) of a pleasant 3 or 4. I really enjoy cooking with it to add unexpected kick to chocolate cake or coffee. You wont be disappointed!
