No. I saw a video on youtube where a guy made a cylinder head out of jb weld, and it did not ground the spark plug.

block crack between cyls 5 & 7 against the head, at the narrowest point between cyls. both cyls are sleeved. will jb hold the temp without breaking do

thanks gpower. was looking online at the temp ratings of different epoxy products, actually found one @2100F, but with low tensile strength. I would like to stay away from welding as the crack is five eights long and sleeved at each end. just now pressure testing and the waterjacket has held 30 lbs for 12 hrs. I may also entertain some of the hi-tech block sealers, if it continues to hold pressure. thanks again for your input, and wish me luck putting life back in this old hemi. Dean

I have a number of small leaks in an older aluminum boat-- would JB work for a repair on this as a weld/filler for small punctures? thanks

This is a general purpose epoxy that worked great for me on cast iron. Question 4

Will this stop an exhaust leak right where a donut goes flanges off of the manifold?  Or which jb weld would work

If your donut is bad you need to replace the donut. JBweld is a metal epoxy, you'll end up creating a permsnent bond wherever you've stuck it to and make it difficult to make a proper repair later without grinding it off.   If it's a crack you need to fix, spread it on thick and press in some wire mesh.. Fiberglass style patch. Let if cure and it should be good. Patched some long cracks that way. Hope that helps
