Bought these shoes for our daughters wedding,only the day before as struggled as he has very wide feet, wore them for 14 hours first time on & couldn’t believe how comfortable they were, & excellent quality beautiful leather, highly recommend, & next day delivery, perfect,

It has taken me weeks of searching Clark’s website to find a suitable replacement for my Montacute Hall style shoes which Clark’s have discontinued. The Batcombe Hall Derby’s are the nearest style and fit I have found . They are a similar sizing and I am extremely pleased with the quality of the leather and style. I would have preferred a stiffer sole but we will have to see how well they stand up to outdoor use. I would have preferred the old style Commando sole which was a feature of the previous style . They look good and I have been wearing them in around the house before I treat them with a waterproof coating to relax the leather and wear them outdoors .

Trying to review the comfort and fit ( and build quality ) without using profanities , they are just so well made and comfortable it beggars belief

This is my 1st pair of Clarks Batcombe Hall Derbys, I have been wearing Batcombe Wing Brogues 5 days per week for work and replace them every 2 years they are fairly durable and every pair has been comfortable straight out of the box. The only let-down is the laces, they're not made to last but this is only a minor inconvenience and is very easily replaced. The price here on Amazon was so good I decided to buy a pair of Batcombe Wing Brogues as well.

Slightly heavy which can a good thing. As my title says these good shoes but not 5 stars. The look very good.

Nice looking shoes, but these are not a true fit size 12. I would order a size down for the correct fit. I will be sending these back and reordering the next size down.
