Best book on communication skills
This is a very short book but it is spot on when it comes to explaining things shortly and easily. There are exercises and generally said improving conversation skills is about improving your focus and starting to notice what around you and looking for clues in conversations to build interesting conversations.I own a lot of other books on conversation skills and this one is the best. There is nothing nonsense in this book and simply by doing what it says your natural conversation skills gets flowing.

not what i expected
Good book did not realize it was a work book. Has some very good pointers, and if you do the exercises you can learn a lot about the way you act in a situation. Has given me some helpful hints to try to use.

A Simple and Practical Route Forward.
A really short, concise set of tools to help you get through virtually all social and business interactions. The book has some simple to appply ideas and preparation exercises that work. Some say this book is too simple - but I have read some other books that are so complex - whist being correct and proven - the lessons are just too hard to apply. This book focuses on replacing your bad habits with correct, prepared, thought through, new ways to approach a conversation. by staying away from lists of don't do this and that you can concentrate on the new route forward. If you are told not to do something you start to obsess about avoidance and you don't get on with the new correct way. Like being told not to think of a green lizard - now a green lizard is in your mind's eye - you can see the problem of the don't do approach.I like this little book and would thoroughly recommend it. Probably not the last book you'll ever get on the subject - but a practical, usable way to get better at all conversations.
