An Underrated Kitchen Utensil!
I LOVE having these in my kitchen stash! They don't have potential to rust out like original canning lids and the pour spout is an added bonus! In my personal use, the lid seals nicely on standard and 6oz jars and I've not experienced any leaks! They're perfect for morning concoctions like chia pudding, overnight oats, etc. and the ideal option for helping to store any small amount leftover liquid! They're easily washable and also make for a great and useable gift (stocking stuffer or otherwise)!

I bought the wrong size and replaced for the right ones
Luckily I was able to replace for the correct size. I’ve bought the wide mouth ones before and are perfect for all my various needs. I highly recommend them. Just be sure you order the correct size. They are expensive. Look for sales if you can. But if not they are still worth every penny! I just gave some away to my granddaughter along with some special stacking jars. My new favorite ones. The ring inside is so easy to pull out and clean. On my favorite new jars they go easily into my car as a drink cup! I don’t like drinking out of plastic. I’ll use my filtered water and fill these for water or teas or whatever I like. Then go even with a silicone straw in my car so I don’t have to bend my neck backwards to drink anything. I use for small nuts and seeds too! Get creative!

Love the quality - does not leak!
It does what they say! Confession - I've never bothered to leave a review before. I researched a lot of canning/Ball jar lids for our needs. We make our own salad dressing/vinaigrette, but our small bottle required making it every other night. So we decided to make it by the quart and find a nice lid. My college aged son is very particular about lids and was sure I would only find some crappy leaky lid, but this lid even passed his inspection and lived up to his tough standards! You can feel the quality in this lid - it's totally worth the money. It screws on nice and solid and the flip-lid has a great feel to the click - it's sort of a two-stage click-seal: there's a first click and then a positive second secure sealing click. Awesome! I've already told friends about it. I also love that I am supporting a small company. Thanks for making such a great lid, Matt & Jacky!

Easy and efficient way to convert mason jars into liquid dispensers and storage
As I try to move from plastic to glass for environmental and health reasons, I am more and more relying on mason jars, and these spouted lids make a range of new uses possible. I have 3 lids, and I use them to dispense maple syrup and salad dressings, leftover smoothie blends, olive oil, and basically any liquid. It allows me to transfer reconstituted lemon juice into glass containers instead of sitting in plastic and perhaps leaching particles over the months it takes me to use that up. If I want to heat up the contents in the microwave, I can remove the plastic lid and safely zap the glass and liquid, then pop the lid back on. When the grandkids are here, I can put milk or juice into a 1-pint container with the spouted lids, and they can pour their own cereal milk and drinks, which makes them feel very capable. I make a small batch of ice tea or coffee and store it with the spouted lid, doling out smaller portions at a time. And I can take a cold drink outside while I read or garden, and not worry about insects attracted to the liquids and perching in the opening because I keep the cover on until I'm ready to sip, with a quick flip up of the lid, and then back down. I love these.

One Star Shy of Five for One reason Only
I bought the wide mouth mason jar flip cap lids to have plastic lids for making Himalayan salt water and for drinking my smoothies. My biggest concern was whether or not hey would be leak proof. They are! I even held the jars upside down and shook them. They came quickly, seem durable, and look great! My mason jars now have a whole new purpose in life! I would have given this a 5 star rating except for one issue only: the lids are a bit tricky to put on and can be even more difficult to remove. I have pain in my hands and needed my husband to help me remove the lids; not everyone has that option. I look forward to using these lids into the future.

Leakproof and Drip-free
For some reason fat-free half-and-half is now only available in quart cartons, and it invariably goes bad before I can use it all. Lately, as soon as I open a new carton, I've taken to freezing half of it in a glass container. The half‐and-half is fine after defrosting, but the problem has been finding a glass container that doesn't drip down the side when I pour from it. This lid, paired with a one‐pint mason jar, pours as cleanly as the original paper carton does. It also makes a leakproof seal with the jar. The cap flips open easily and stays open when pouring. All in all, I couldn't be happier. But I don't know how it would stand up to freezing, so unless I learn otherwise I plan to freeze the jar with its original lid.

Why did it take so long to get this right?
I use these caps for 3 things. A 1 quart jar for cold press coffee syrup for the week, kept on a back shelf in the refrigerator. A smaller (1/2 pint?) jar for coffee syrup I keep in the refrigerator door for daily access. And a 1 quart jar for pancake mix that allows several mornings of pancakes from one batter-making session. All tops seal perfectly and pour with almost no drips. They are easy to clean (I handwash mine). They seal rather tightly but can best be removed by placing the left thumb on the side of the fliptop hinge and gripping the outer rim of the lid with the rest of the hand. It’s worked for me. I found myself asking, “Why did it take so long to get this right?”

Garbage
Purchased in April and kids leaking already. The rubber seals stretch and wear out, causing the lid to leak.

Functional, quality but expensive
Very functional and well made, but by the time you pay in USD and get shipped to Australia may be difficult to substantiate value. But I just like nice things, so I’m happy.

Doesn't fit
Doesn't fit any of my wide mouth Mason jars. The treads on the side don't match. I have several different brands. Can twist it on forcefully but then it leaks.. was super disappointed.
