Works well for my purposes. I needed something to protect my iPad mini (2nd generation) around the house and during travel. Case looks good and isn't bulky, which makes it suitable for travel.

The teal shade so very pretty and unique (think vintage clamshell apple teal!). The cut outs are perfect, everything is accessible while providing the best protection. I have an iPad Mini 2 and 3(pictured) and this case fits them both like a charm. Wake/Sleep function works like a charm. I don’t use the stand, but it is sturdy and keeps its shape via magnet if you need that feature. Back is nicely (but not over) textured for easy gripping. Minor issues I have: I wish the inside cover of the case was black or a different material as it tends to pick up stains and oils easily. Also wish the cover somehow magnetized itself to the back of the case because if you fold it back it tends to slip.

I have had a Zagg keyboard case for a couple of years and although it works great, it makes an otherwise svelte tablet feel like a prehistoric stone tablet. I have also not used the keyboard as I thought I would, so I decided to ditch the setup and look for a simple case that has a stand function. It is thin and the tablet snapped into the hard part of the case no problem. I will also say I wanted on that was fitted, not a generic fit for smaller tablets. The cover does make my mini sleep and wake every time which is great. Then I spent a few minutes trying to figure out the "stand" portion of it. My other iPad does it a different way--- so when it came to this one, I went back and looked at pictures and voila! I was over thinking it. Overall I like it. The stand portion is great as I use it as an alarm clock and now instead of trying to "I just sank your battle ship" (I always had it laying flat in my other setup) and poking at the screen while not being fully cognizant when it goes off....and maybe getting lucky and hitting the snooze button---- I can easily see the screen and am able to snooze or turn it off without issue. I also use the stand as a holding device when watching TV or just using it in general. With it also being a TON lighter, it has made me like my iPad Mini again.
