Cricut Joy (2025)

Wonderful machine, brought out the artistic streak in my son who is now printing out designs on tee shirts!

What an absolute joy to use.. No pun intended, Ive come from silhouette to cricut and im so glad i did.. Works straight out of the box.. Love it

The product is fine, easy to use, and to set up. It's definitely intended for a non-technical audience. For example, the software needed didn't have the specs of the minimum software requirements, I had to look for that elsewhere to see if it could run on a Windows tablet. The projects are not saved as a specific file, but uploaded somewhere only accessible via the proprietary software. I don't think you can use any other software outside of their own. Also, I heard from some other people that once you link your account to a device, that device can only be used with that account. Trying to use another one might result in Cricut bricking the machine, so careful to you second-hand buyers... Now, for the really bad stuff: The mats come with a grid that is completely useless as they do not align with the Cricut's "printing area". I tried to write on a card, aligning the edge of the card with the edge of the grid, and ended up with the writing spilling out of the card into the mat... Also, the mat comes with a super sticky surface that will destroy any regular paper you put on it... It's definitely a money grab, since they expect you to buy and use only their branded materials. I'll be looking into other brands that offer better mats. Also, your spending doesn't stop at buying the machine and the official materials. No, if you want the full capacity of the software, you need to register for a monthly subscription. I tried uploading my own image that had TWO colours. Well, unless you subscribe to Cricut Access, you won't be able to split the image into different layers, so everything will have to be printed in the same colour... If you're just looking into doing some home DIY projects, it might be the product for you. But the cost will add up.

Elle découpe bien et fait le job. Cependant la première mise en route est impossible sans ordinateur, ça devrait être précisé dans la description !

Dies ist das zweite Stück, das ich innerhalb einer Woche gekauft habe. Das erste ließ sich nicht über Bluetooth verbinden, und das zweite trennte die Bluetooth-Verbindung in weniger als einer Minute!! Sehr schlecht im Vergleich zum Preis, und wenn es ein Problem mit Bluetooth gibt, bedeutet das, dass es unbrauchbar ist.

Absolut schreckliches Gerät für macOS Nutzer!
