I love these gems! They are glass and will chip. I needed good quality gems for my sons Sonic cake. These were PERFECT!! I surprised my son with the gems and he was so excited when he saw them. He thought they were the coolest thing. The kids at his party all wanted a gem. I did not give them out. They are kept in the box with a sonic sticker on the box for keepsake. He plays with them. I try to hide them. They are just so beautiful. They are heavy and made very well. If I had to buy again, I would not hesitate. Great product!

This was a birthday favor for a Sonic Hedgehog party for 7 year olds. These were lovely. I also bought much cheaper fake gems that were 36 for ten dollars that were some sort of plastic and there is a huge difference between this product and the plastic type, which is obviously reflected in the price. These seem to be glass, are heavy, have elaborate faceting, and did not chip as I packaged them...we put them into mini velvet pouches. They were not sharp. The plastic ones were decent and very brightly colored, but almost instantly developed opaque white chips with only very minor handling.My one and only complaint is that they sit in some sort of non recyclable styrofoam. Would be great if they could place them into shredded paper or something instead.

It is heavy and feels like real treasure to my boys. Very shiny, way better than the plastic alternatives.

Granddaughter asked for GEMS for Christmas (age 7 ) found these on Amazon. They came in a nice gift box, were large size so no worries of dropping and not finding them. Would buy again. Good price.

Very clean, very uniform color, my 6 year old is convinced he has the Crown Jewels in his little pirate chest.
