Working fine , for that price it's good but read write speeds are very slow in windows. I use Linux and there the speeds are fine , if you are windows user than you may not get the full speed of your ssd / hdd

That's a Great Product! Read the full thing for clarity; it's a great product, works perfectly with laptop/pc... always easy to set up... I donno why ppl are giving bad reviews, maybe they got a faulty product then, cause the ideal product is simply something great that you can get at this cost. The quality of wires is quiet god (not bad for sure), the disk fit's perfectly... the outer box is a lil low quality plastic, but enough to visually cover the disk and keep stuff safe and easy to handle for years... The box has a Blue light at the power button. It lights up anytime data transfer, reading, or writing of information is being done over the disk. This is great for ensuring that things are happening and also for knowing when to eject to avoid data corruption. Transfer Speed is good I guess, but lags slightly while paying/saving the games stored in the disk. The box and disk heat a lil, but's up to the disk performance and age. Otherwise, the product is great... Le lo aaram see... Working well for me.

The internal hard disk was properly installed in the cover. Instalation was very easy and started working fine at first, but after half an hour the computer stopped reading it. This hard disk cover didn’t turn out to be good for me — I would say my money went to waste. Anyone planning to buy it should think carefully before ordering. Only purchase it if it can be returned in case it turns out to be faulty.

Although the box was looking sus (taped together), the enclosure in it was untouched. The quality of the enclosure is solid. It came with 1x usb 3.0 cable and 1x 12v adapter. The quality of the adapter is questionable (it feels very light and made of cheap plastic) however it works as expected. There was 4x screws in the box for mounting your hdd and 1 useless screwdriver. Now the main thing is the controller in the enclosure. The quality of the controller decides how good is the speed going to be when you transfer your data. In my case, I'm getting the max speed my hdd is rated for. Also my use case is cold storage so I don't really have use of high transfer speeds. All in all, pretty solid solution for converting existing internal hdd to external. Note: You need 12v adapter version if you plan to use 3.5inch hdd like me. Otherwise for 2.5inch hdd and ssd the non 12v adapter version is fine since they get thier power from the usb only.

Product does it's job well. Built quality can be better. Its not shock proof. Need to be handled with care. Most importantly harddrive need to be formatted in NTFS format . However it does it job well

I've been using this HDD enclosure for 6 months now...It works perfectly with both my old 3.5" desktop drives and 2.5" laptop drives without any issues. The build quality feels decent, great value for money if you need to use old internal drives with laptop like me. and USB A to A cable is solid quality - no doubts about that at all. Minor point: The power adapter design could be improved though - it follows an older design that sometimes loses connection with the power strip due to imperfect contact. The build quality is average, but the structure could definitely be better.

Good product . Works well, but in the “what’s it the box” section it’s said I’ll receive the enclosure , one type c to usb cable and one type c to c cable. Except the last item (type c to c) cable rest was all there in the package. Apart from it, the enclosure gets heated up a bit as no thermal pads are provided
