Grape Plant Southern Home Includes (4) Four Plants

We bought eight 4-packs of these for our fence-line three years ago and planted them the week we received them. The plants looks very sad after being shipped halfway across the U.S. After I unpacked them (they were very gently rolled in damp paper towels) I put them all into a Tupperware and let them rest, gave them a little water, and 'woke them up'. Within a few days, they had perked up so I got them in the ground and almost immediately they started chasing the sun.They were little tiny baby plants (like 3-4 leaves per stem). , but with 32 of them to plant, I put them about 3 feet apart each and hoped for the best.It's taken 3 years, but they are healthy, hearty, and love the full sun. We're in Dallas, TX, so our summers are brutal and our winters do freeze. These guys have lost their leaves each year, but come back in early spring with a vengeance.I'm coming back to write this now because I just noticed they are starting to bloom. They have the tell-tale tiny clusters of itty-bitty baby grapes! We bought them for the foliage, but we are super excited about the fruit.Planting tip: I dug out the old soil and replaced it with the type of soil our garden center recommended. We haven't really fed them, but they don't seem to mind. I will try to come back and post photos of the grapes when they fill out.If you do some research, you'll see that in no way did I plant these the way a vineyard would plant them, but they serve my purpose well!

The plants arrived today. Based off negative reviews, I thought they would be half-dead or mostly dead. We have some experience in bringing dead sticks back to life, so we took the risk.These came looking very healthy (all things considered). If I could give a review for USPS it would not be as high. Took them 4 days to deliver it from Apopka to Bushnell (both in Florida). Apopka is an hour and 15 minute drive away.I delicately potted them up as soon as they came in. Looking forward to seeing how they work out. This variety comes highly recommended for the central Florida climate.

i got these today they sure look pitiful but i put them in the grown will let u know if they make it

It doesn't look promising that any will survive, but the fault may be mine. They came as two segmented plastic containers in which they appear to have been started from seed. That clump of plastics tubs and spindly plants was wrapped in a piece of brown paper. When I opened the paper wrapping I thought the four plants would separate easily, but they did not, and somehow most of the stems got snapped somewhere around the middle. If you buy this product, lay the package down on a well-lighted table, and try to work a sing plant out of the tangle. Get the first one completely free, and only then start with the next one.

The 4 Southern Home Muscatine grape plants arrived promptly, I was expecting well established plants. The largest plant is showing signs of growth, it was about 8" in length. The other 3 plants, who were only about 3" & 4" long, promptly DIED!!!! To pay $24 for 4 plants, the plants should be well established.I wrote to the seller, asking that they send 3 well established replacement plants, but, guess what??? No reply!!!IGood news I received a reply from the seller!!!!!17 August 2020 - I just received the 3 replacement plants in today's mail, they're more established, about 8 to 10 inches tall, the same size as the original one of four that survived.20 Aug 2020 - My 3 replacement plants are healthy and growing! Fantastic!!!

I live north of Houston Tx, where zones 9A & 8B meet. I ordered 4 of these plants last year and potted them up, along with 4 other kinds of grapes. Three of these made it thru last years brutal summer (kept outdoors in a 60% shade cloth draped over a pipe greenhouse frame). All 3 of the survivors are well sprouted and ready to go into the soil after I build a long cattle panel arbor fir them and kiwi.

For a honest Review in my own words . I bought these grapes for my husband and now that's its been a month I wanted to write my review they are still alive so that's a plus ,there even growing and here in Florida were having a little cold snap so I'm hoping that they will keep doing good . so my opinion is if looking for grapes these are the ones you want.
