EF ECOFLOW Solar Generator RIVER 3 230 & 60W Solar Panel,245Wh 550W

This is my second EcoFlow River 3. I use them to power diesel heaters in my VW buses and they perform beautifully. I power a 5KW heater and a 2KW heater. In order to do this all you need to do is attach a cigarette lighter plug to the power wires coming off your diesel. The 60 watt solar panel is compact and easily portable. However when I first connected it to the battery (in cloudless full bright New Mexico sunshine) the charging fluctuated from 0 to 62 watts and an error code appeared on the app (the app itself is excellent). I unplugged it and within a few minutes I got the error code again. On the third try it seems okay and is producing between 50 and 58 watts, which is respectable. In addition to my two River 3 batteries, I own an EcoFlow Delta 2 and an EcoFlow River 2 Pro. The River 2 Pro will power my Dometic CX5 35 liter cooler for at least three days even when set at 33 degrees. I’m sold on EcoFlow. The products are superb and the support is outstanding.

I was very skeptical about it not working based on so many 1 star reviews saying the display doesn’t work but I received my 60 watt solar panel and eco flow river 3 after 5 days due to them shipping with fedex and everything works just fine and its very easy to use

The unit is very small and lightweight which was quite a surprise. Doesn't hold a ton of power but is still very good and works well. I use i to charge mainly my tool batterys in my shed and run some small other tools like a soldering iron, fan and that kind of stuff. I think both USB Are kind of useless since their output is very low but they work none the less. My only complaint and that's kind of my fault is not researching and finding out once im reading the box that the solar panels aren't meant to stay in exposure to the elements for prolonged periods of time unlike regular static solar panels. All in all its a great unit, very simple and easy to use and the charging speed from an outlet is super fast and from a 100w solar panel is very good as well. Highly recommended

Works really well and does exactly what I need from it. It charges pretty quick via AC even if you have it on quiet charging mode which is a lower wattage. Solar charging largely depends on how much sun you’re getting but I’m peek to ehh sunlight it’s not bad at all really and can probably charge from 0-100% in 5.5hours at about 40-45w from the solar panel, which I didn't reach the full 60w from my 60w rated panel(however that’s typical to not reach 100% of its wattage rate). For power consumption it’s great! Whatever kind of power you need it does good for basic things(no larger appliances). I can power my phone, iPad and maybe a desk fan off the DC output ports well. If you wanna get crazy and your off grid/power backup requires tv, then you’re in luck here because you can run a tv on this as well but it’s 100% requires you to put the tv on the lowest brightness you can which I testers on a 43in, 55in, 65in and all of those sit at about 21w - 25w, with a 75in tv pulling an average of 27/28w taking a little more from your overall supply. I also have a Dreo DC motor fan which is supper power efficient and at middle fan speeds takes about 5-8w (depending on the speed) and that actually produces a great breeze. So if you combine your 43-65in tv with an efficient fan it’ll last about 7.5hours straight after factoring about how much inverter loss you’ll have which is normal to have happen. Throw a couple phones(2 iPhone 17pro Max) for charging and it’ll probably drop total time overall to maybe 6.5hours.After you can see what first world problems I have, I find this great for my lazy days and would definitely recommend. The value is there for sure if you only need a smaller battery. If you’re looking to power larger items or anything that heats, get a larger battery like the Delta 3 which man that is a nice one too as I got that recently too.

It’s ass. Doesn’t even hold a charge for the full hours it said it’s suppose to! It can’t even hold power to my power tools. The size is okay. The ports are alright. Can’t even return this expecting a full refund now. Don’t waste your money

I originally bought this portable power station to have a flexible power source for both home backup and outdoor activities. The size makes it easy to move around, and it’s small enough to bring along on trips without taking up much space.I ended up using it sooner than expected during a music festival where we stayed in a rented RV. Since we weren’t very familiar with the RV’s setup, we eventually ran out of gas for a while and lost power. The power station turned out to be extremely useful in that situation. We were able to run a fan and a few lights, which made the evening much more comfortable until the RV power situation was sorted out.One thing I like about this unit is how quickly it recharges. Being able to top it up quickly before a trip or after using it during an outage is very convenient. The unit also offers multiple output options, which makes it easy to power different devices like phones, laptops, lights, or small appliances.The balance between portability and capacity is good. It’s light enough to carry around, but still powerful enough to provide meaningful backup power when you need it.Overall, this portable power station has proven to be a practical piece of equipment for both outdoor trips and unexpected situations at home.

Great product. But be warned. The moment you set it up on the internet it will prompt you to update it. ONCE YOU UPDATE IT THE DISPLAY WILL NO LONGER WORK. you can see it from your phone sure. But the display on the device itself will only display the number 8 in every spot possible.You do not have to connect it to the internet to connect it to your phone. It has blue tooth. Do. Not. Update. It.Please email me when its been fixed and ill remove the 2 star ty. Great product otherwise, havnt tested solar panels yet
