Flat Duplex Cable, 14/2 AWG, Black/Red, 100 ft

I have been using spools of Ancor wire for many years in a saltwater marine environment. It is very easy to solder terminals to. It is also very flexible, which makes it easy to install. I have NEVER had an issue with the wire, even many years after the installation. To the people who have complained about the spools of wire not being marked every foot.... 1) that would add to the cost of the wire. 2) Either learn some tricks on installing wire, or hire a professional to do the job. 3) buy a Sharpie, and make your own foot marks.... I used some of this spool to install 2 runs on each side of a boat trailer for stop/ taillights. (Because those "trailer wiring harnesses" suck for longevity) I have no idea how much wire was used, (since it has no "foot marks") but I do know the wire itself will never have an issue.

It's an Ancor product, of course it is 5 Stars!! This item is made in the USA, and of good quality product. The sheathing is tough, yet flexible. The wire is tinned, and a true AWG. You can never go wrong with Ancor marine rated wire, never. These bulk spools are the best way to go for the money. I wish they made a black sheathed variety though....

So many wires to choose from, I decided to go Ancor. While I paid more for this, I got a quality marine wire. I like the sheathing and the wire is a good for most of my lights. I ran about 15-20ft on my pontoon for led lights and aux uses that will use 5-10A max I might be pushing it a bit, but most of these will not be on at the same time. I'd recommend searching for a wire gauge chart and determine your load. The material is good strong tinned copper for marine use. This is the industry wire of choice and it says it on the jacket. I have used just copper and it corroded just over a year later. I had to soldered the joints and silicone juice the connector to keep the corrosion out. That was a lot of work, so I decided to pony up and get the real deal. I just chimp and go. I live in the Midwest with fresh water and all four seasons and still copper only corroded. For a boat, this is not where I will ever skimp on money, ever again. First time ANCOR buyer.

Ancor has been around. I've trusted it on multiple occasions. No need to second guess anything when i have this paired with BlueSeaSystems hardware. Accurate to use with thesr off-brand terminals/connectors I buy. Ive had some installed in a boat thats been running for 5 years and when i changed the lines out, they were still good. I just cut off a few inches here and there for cleaner wire. only as per USCG maintenance recommendations. Good stuff.

Exactly as described

The jacket can be easily scored and peeled with a utility knife. It's real tinned copper inside to conduct well and resist corrosion. The insulation is decently strong, flexible, and resists abrasion. The stranding is not too fine, which is good - you don't get loose strands when inserting to screw terminals or crimp connectors. I'm using it in my RV for add-on circuits which run underneath, where they may be exposed to sunlight, oil, and water. Time will tell how well it holds up, but this cable is UL-listed to handle all of those.

Great wire, use it on my dump trailers. Duplex or triplex it suits the needs of hard working equipment. Haven't had any corrosion issue to date due to its tin coating. Not my 1st purchase of Anchor wire. Yep, its marine wire and colors dont quite match up to original trailer wire, but I usually rewire entire trailer anyway. Most trailer wire is not sheathed, so that is the reason I use Anchor marine wire. Less chance of chaffing into a short. But this shipment came UPS dumb post. Box was drop kicked and rolled, at least it appears that way. So plastic spool was broke in two. Not a huge issue but didn't work so well on wire rack. 5 stars for Anchor and its product. -1star for busted reel, (UPS dumb post)

When I bought my boat I had the dealership add a couple of items. Once I realized they were using the same wire I felt foolish using anything else when writing more lights on the boat. Highly recommend.

Thank You

Good quality cable. Did the job required.

Just what my boat needed, proper wire.

Great for wiring lights and other accessories on my boat. Seems to hold up well to corrosion. Very happy

Ya había trabajado con esta Marca y este producto, pero desconfié de la cantidad del rollo por el precio, pero está muy bien, de por si la marca es buena pero tenía miedo de que fuera estafa, pero si está muy bien la calidad y si es lo que prometen
