Flash Furniture Hercules 108x40 in Folding Table

This is a super nice table for value. It IS sturdy, easy to fold out the legs, and looks great. You won't be disappointed. Ours came in a lot of protective packaging, and was easy to take out of the box. Warning ⚠️: This table is HEAVY. Unless you're a lumberjack, you will need two people, at least, to move this table safely.

This table is an outstanding and beautiful piece of furniture. We are using it outdoors in our backyard kitchen and it makes quite a statement. Since we opted to use benches it can easily sit over 13 people. It's well made and extremely easy to assemble with only a couple of pins to insert intuitively since the legs are folded in--smart design! We value the craftsmanship of this piece. It's very heavy and although a couple people maybe able to carry to its location we opted to open the box where it was dropped. If you are elderly, I would suggest pay extra to have it delivered to the assigned room of your preference.

I was planning to build a table myself but I came across this and decided that for $5XX I may as well just buy it and save myself the time because I already have an ADHD amount of unfinished projects at home IYKYK. This was ordered on a Monday and was delivered by Wednesday. Packaged very well. Table had zero damage as reported in some other reviews. Easily set up in under a minute. It is very sturdy. My daughter and I stood on top of it to wipe down the moulding around the wall mural so it easily held about 300 pounds of us two together. The table top is kind of genius. It's made to look like 4 bys and 6 bys that are alternated, however, it is a solid slab that they routered to make it look like separate planks. I would definitely recommend using poly or butcher block wax on the top for protection but other than that, this table comes out of the box ready to go. I paired it with bronze farmhouse chairs that were $99 for 4 and two of the 40" benches from the same company (we use those elsewhere in the house until company comes over and we need to pull the table out from the wall and have additional seating.) All in all I would definitely recommend this product for the price and I'm sure it will last for years to come.

With wood prices the way they are, I decided to bite the bullet and buy over build for our new table. That was my first mistake. Product arrived in a normal manner for oversized items and the delivery crew were kind and helpful people. When it arrived we marked that there was some damage on the sides but nothing a quick buff wouldn't fix. The true extent of the damage was shown instantly once the top of the box was taken off. A nearing foot long piece of wood just crushed off and splinters and crushes throughout the table. Pretty devastated I took photos of everything and went to upload them to support. Well that's where the second issue comes in. Amazon will direct you to the Flash Furniture site which gives you two options: call in or submit online. Since it was 11PM pst i went with the submit online. Submitting online only allows for DEALERS of furniture to file damages, if you want to file as a guest you're out of luck you will be put into an endless loop “Continue as Guest” and “Sign in as a Dealer”. Eventually I just submitted a general inquiry as a guest hoping someone will actually read it. Fortunately this table in the non-damaged areas is good looking and for being 9ft long was super simple to set up for two people. I hope I will get a chance to update my review.

So, I was pretty worried about this table as it sat in storage for three months before being opened. When we initially received the delivery, box was okay looking just torn on the sides where straps go around. From what we could tell, table itself looked to be fine. Once our house was finished, this was the first thing we opened up! Amazed the table was 99% damage free. Some tiny marks on the top that actually resembled tables with the “worn” dents added for look. The table is beautiful. Coloring is that of an old rustic country table. The price we paid was excellent and a table of this length would have easily been tripled (that’s the low end) in cost. My husband, for some reason, felt the needed to put butcher block oil on it. The oil absorbed slowly over a few days and has given the table a slightly deeper color, enhancing the little burrs that are throughout. The table opened in a snap and the one flaw we can see (more of an annoyance really) is the table rocks slightly front to back. This is because of the metal table supports underneath. We have tightly wrapped the support pins in black felt and this has helped but still moves a bit. The table does not move at all left to right and is solid. Overall, I cannot believe we snagged this at $5xx. It is so beautiful. The bolts other reviewers mention are visible and we intend on painting them black at some point. It is probably obvious but felt pads are needed as the wood legs will scratch some floors.

Overall - the tables are very sturdy, a good value, and looked great. That said, they are not "exact" e.g. when putting them side-by-side they do not perfectly align, also in terms of height. And, due to how they were packaged (and we were EXTREMELY careful opening, as we knew they had slightly glossy surfaces) they were scratched and with some light gouging on arrival. We chose not to return, but this resulted in a less than 5* experience.

Good product, sturdy, large enough for up to 10 guests or so.
