It uses electromagnetic pulses to vibrate steel strings. Not really an "infinite sustainer", but an "E-bow". It's good for playing notes with a very soft and slow atrack, and, while you CAN perhaps pick then sustain notes on a guitar with it... But it's for steel stringed instruments. THAT.
