A Protective Layer
I often wear my key fob on a lanyard around my neck. Through dings and bumps the fob takes a beating. This silicone layer does the trick while enabling the fob to relay signal.

Great coverage for my fob
This covered my keys fob like a glove. I'm not worried now about dropping it and breaking it or wearing off the silver finish on the sides. All the buttons work with the cover on, I was afraid I would have to press harder to get them to respond. But nope they work perfectly.

Does NOT have a cutout for the backup key.
The fit and shape of this thing are perfect - the buttons are clearly visible and textured and it protects the remote quite nicely. It would be getting five stars from me, except for two flaws that come together in a particularly nasty way.1: The silicone wraps around the opening for the keyring, meaning you can't put it on or take it off without removing the remote from your keys entirely.2: There is no cutout for the backup key to slide out easily, or for the switch to release it.To use the backup key, you have to fold the end of the slicone down to reach the switch (see picture) or remove it from your keyring to take the cover off. This won't affect most people in most situations, but it's not something I really want to be dealing with in an emergency.It might be possible to make some alterations with an X-Acto knife, but that's a lot of hassle and you've got one shot at it...

Very nice fob cover
Really well made and looks great. Looks so natural that you don't know that you have a cover on.This one even covers the buttons and they still work great.Very happy with this one.

Small loss big wins
Highly recommend! Great product great price , it does attract a lot of lint because of the silicon but it’s a small price to pay , it makes my car key look better than the new model keys

It fits like a glove & looks great.
Fits over the key fob like a tight fitting glove, which I like versus the opposite. Looks great on the key fob too. Should protect the key fob well.
