All you really need in a everyday socket set for a great price
Perfect everyday socket set, Ratchets are of ok quality and lock the socket onto it firmly with push release, large assortment of both shallow and deep well sockets for every need, also some of the deep well sockets are contoured to get into tights spaces , I haven't put any torque on them as of yet we'll see on down the road, every size you need to do 99% of whatever you need. also great price with free delivery is a plus. A great all around socket set.

Great value for a great set of sockets .
I purchased a set about 3 years ago .The other set was a little less expensive, but still well worth the price. I bought this one for our cabin and I've put ratchet extensions on it to remove lug nuts on my truck with no breaking, or bending.

Excellent set, could use a better case
Excellent tool set. I got this for Christmas of 2020. Immediately put it to use, and it’s never really failed me. Used for everything from spark plugs, to exhaust and suspension work. I’ve had bolt that were stuck on, and even with a jack handle and standing on it it didn’t break. The biggest downside to it is the case, as you have to keep the foam in it, otherwise the sockets will spill everywhere. After close to five years of living in my car, and being used for automotive work, the case broke, and I decided to upgrade, as unfortunately it only has 12 point sockets. For the price, id highly recommend it.

Nice set, but we returned it
This is a very nice looking set in a sturdy case, but the one socket we needed first, a 10 mm, had a divot in it so it wouldn't attach to the ratchet. If that hadn't happened, we would have loved the set. We did return it and got a different set on sale. The seller shipped quickly and also accepted the return without issue.

Good quality in compact box
The set contains everything you might need. The box is very compact and won't take up much space. Be careful when opening it, as the sockets are not secured on one side and may fall out.

Great, solid set for the money
This is a great value for $30. It's made in Taiwan and the metric sizes fit great (haven't needed the SAE sizes yet). The tool kit is solid at about 7.5 pounds and I especially like the knurling on the extensions and that it includes a universal joint. The sockets sizes are stamped deep and clear. May not matter if you're 20, but when you get to be 40 your eyes will thank you. In the picture, the EPAuto socket is on the right (Gearwrench laser etched socket on the left for comparison). Great set for keeping in my trunk in case of a roadside repair. The only thing I would like changed is a longer ratchet (an 8 inch ratchet would still fit in the same tool case) with a lower profile head. A small knurled ring around the sockets would also help when your hands are greasy. Other similar sets (same size ratchet and sockets) sell for 50% more, but I think this will hold up as well as those and the price can't be beat. Update (6/25/22): Have used this regularly over the last 4 years (including the SAE sockets) and it's held up great. In fact, even the sockets still look like the day I bought the set. Even though it's gone up in price, it's still a great value when compared to similar sets (example: Tekton 3/8 inch set). Would definitely recommend again. The second and third pictures are with my new phone and I also used a blue marker on the EPAuto socket to make it even more visible in low light. Even without, you can see the Gearwrench socket is harder to see the size marking. The Gearwrench socket set is model 80550 (also made in Taiwan). Both are excellent socket sets, but the EPAuto set is much less expensive, takes up less space and the sockets are easier (for my old eyes:) to read. So that's why I keep the EPAuto set in my car.

Good value in a nice set of sockets
After moving, and downsizing several times the past few years, I found most of my tools were missing, I probably sold them during a weak moment at garage sales. While searching for a socket to repair my grandson's bike, I found all I had was several ratchet handles but only 1 19mm socket. I'm not turning wrenches for a living, I just wanted to pick up a complete set of sockets in an organized case. After reading the reviews, this EPauto 45 piece set seemed to be a worthwhile investment. I believe for the average homeowner who might need a socket from time to time, they will find this set is perfect. The sockets are well made with a nice chrome plated finish. No sign of flaking. They are 6 point so they grip well. The SAE sizes are in the top part of the case, snuggly held in place so they don't fall out when you open and close the case. The metrics are in the bottom, fairly loose, so pay attention to the "top" sticker they put on the outside of the case . The case will open and lay flat so you have easy access while you're working. The rachet handle seems smooth, I haven't used it a lot so I can't say anything about the durability, I'm sure it's adequate for home use. If you're looking for a nice inexpensive set of sockets, I would look no further than these. I think you'll be pleased.

One of the best complete sub-1/2" socket sets for the money
The Amazon Basics socket set was out of stock so I went with this one and after using it for a couple of weeks of daily use I must say I am impressed. It is one of the best sets for the DIY'er on a budget. A lot of people complain about how the tools don't snap into their locations in the case so if you open it upside-down they fall out everywhere but in my opinion it's much better this way as the tools are so much easier to remove and replace and you don't have to worry about yanking the whole case off the shelf trying to remove a socket like other cases. If you use some common sense and be mindful of the ARROWS ON THE CLIPS THAT POINT RIGHT-SIDE UP, then you won't have to worry about opening upside-down. The quality of the set is on par with some of the entry level tool brands such as Stanley and Craftsman but for much less. No chipping or flaking despite having exposed them to brake fluid and forgetting to clean them as well as dropping them. Suspiciously high quality for the money. Only the test of time will reveal their true quality but even if I only get a couple of years out of these tools, they will be in my opinion money well-spent. My only complaint is the lack of a 18 mm 3/8" drive deep-well. The set could also use a 3/8" universal adapter and I'm sure there's room for it in that case but other than that this is one of the best, if not the best socket set for the money. If they had a larger, more complete 3/8"/1/4" socket set I would have bought that!
