These are absolutely the best choice for rain and visual appeal! We did not want down spouts clunking up our backyard and patio. And we are so happy with this result. Have not had a big rain yet, but the little we've had looks beautiful moving down the chain. I've actually enjoyed watching the morning dew move slowly and peaceful.

I just put in a rain garden and this functions well as an asthetic downspout alternative. If there are wind gusts the water can blow outside the chain but that is not a big deal. I wonder about winter ice build up here in Wisconsin but that can be a problem with downspouts as well. I had my handyman install the gutter adapter and it did not take him long at all. It was a lot easier then installing an actual downspout. I bought and attached the bowl at the bottom, and puts rocks in it to hold it on place. I may get a bigger flat-ish rock to set it on. One could also put it on a small pedestal and it could function as a birdbath.

Ideal for me. Real nice copper rain chain and mesmerizing to watch work. Installation tip: make sure the top of the chain is just below the gutter outlet not up inside the downspout.

These rain chains are stunning when not in use, and they create an amazing visual during storms! Today we had our first real downpour since we ordered them and I was curious to see how they worked; as you can see they’re fantastic! Love the way the water flows through them.

Absolutely love this rain chain. It is a simple clean look and works 100 percent. Love watching the rain come down the gutter thru this chain. So much nicer and I believe it works better than the cups as I have both. Would recommend.
