Hey, Teachers of primary kids! I came up with this idea of filing my kindergarten papers, and it works great for sorting their work. I get small labels and put them on the end of each slat in alphabetical order. Next, I use tape to secure the labels. I also use a marker or a laser printer to make the background different colors in groups of four for easier identification. The great thing is that you can easily move the papers around the room after the kids' work is sorted. A parent volunteer can rubberband the papers before sending them home. Older kids can file their own papers. At the end of the year, I use a razor blade scraper to scrape off the former class member's names before using the sorter the following school year! Have fun!

This thing will last until the end of time and it has numbers, or letters, and it’s such a great organizational tool. I can’t imagine not having this again. I remembered these from working in an office in the 1980s and have always wanted one.

I’ve wanted one of these for years but never had the need to buy until I had a ton of filing to do at work. This little beauty took a project that would have taken a couple hours and helped me break it down in just a few hours. Glad that I bought it for myself. Now the boss says he’s gonna buy one for the office.

I really liked using this for my students to hand in their papers. It was fast and the papers were already in alphabetical order for me. However, one student discovered that the ends are rubber pieces that can removed. I called the company to see if I could purchase just the rubber pieces. They don't sell just the those pieces. Great idea if the end pieces couldn't be removed!
