Excellent watch for the money
When my Samsung Active 2 died I went looking for an option that wasnโt going to break the bank. I just needed a good basic smart watch that I could track my bike rides with. I wanted to be able to see my performance metrics on my morning workout rides and I wanted to be able to see a map of my trip when I did my longer (40 mile) leisure rides. There were 4 Amazfit watches I considered, the Bip 6, the Fit 2, the Fit 2 Premium Round and the Fit 2 Premium Square. I did a lot of research and watched a lot of review videos. I really liked the amount of information that the Bip 6โs square screen provided. But I was looking for a watch I could wear for sport or dress, and I felt that the Bip 6โs large size wouldnโt really work well as a dress watch. The Fit 2 premium Square was twice the price Bip 6, but it was less than ยฝ the price of a comparable Samsung or Pixel watch. Iโm hoping that the Saphire crystal lives up to the scratch resistance claims so I can at least save a few bucks on screen protectors ๐ I assumed that the premium square was brushed steel like the premium round. It wasnโt. It was polished stainless steel. I was a bit disappointed about that, but I canโt fault the watch for that, it was my mistake. But I have to say that with the right watch face chosen itโs still a pretty classy looking watch. The pseudo-leather band looks very dressy, and I was surprised that I even liked the orange sport band that came with it. Itโs more of a burnt orange/pumpkin orange, not the bright orange I was expecting. The watch is great at tracking my rides. The battery on my old Samsung Active 2 usually did not last the entire day if I was using it to track a long ride. At the end of my recent day-long ride I still had over 70% battery left. A big plus The information display is great when riding. All the key info that Iโm looking for is on the main ride screen, Distance, speed, time, heart rate. And the screen visibility is excellent, even in bright sunlight. A previous (cheaper) watch that I tried could not be viewed with polarized sunglasses. I had no similar issues with the Amazfit. The watch can be set to announce your progress at regular intervals during your ride/workout. It announces duration, distance and avg spreed. My Samsung also announced heart rate. I do wish the Amafit announced HR too. Hopefully someone from Amazfit checks the reviews occasionally and adds this feature. The Amazfit has about 150 built-in workouts. I was only interested in cycling but if youโre looking for a decent fitness tracker this watch will probably have you covered. My previous Samsung watch did not play well with the default Android messaging app. I needed to install a third-party app to be able to reply to messages from my watch. The Amazfit worked fine with the default google messaging app. It even seems to work with RCS messages which some less expensive wtches don't. Iโd like to see a little more volume when answering call from the watch, but it is workable. Just a bit tough in noisy environments. This watch has a lot of features. I was initially getting frustrated trying to set it up. I received an email after registering the Zepp companion app for the watch. The email had a link to the user manual. That helped a lot. It is very customizable and after a little playing I have a watch that has all the information that I need a swipe or two away. So in summary โ Itโs a good-looking watch. It appears to be well made. It has all of the functions I could ask for and is an excellent fitness partner. Yes, there are a bunch of cheap โsmartโ watches out there. I even tried one. They are cheap for a reason. This watch approaches the functionality of the high-end watches without breaking the bank. I would highly recommend.

An Excellent Smartwatch, far above and beyond!
This smartwatch has far exceeded my expectations. I'm coming from a Xiaomi Watch Band 7 (Mi Band 7) and was going to upgrade to the recently released Smart Band 10, but saw that the release price was $73 bucks. I then saw the Amazfit Active 2 on sale for $75. For that price, this was a no brainier. The Mi Bands are more fitness trackers than smart watches. Their functionality is very limited, compared to Amazfit's offerings. On Android, I can actually respond (through typing or voice) to messages. There are apps you can install, to increase functionality, like the Pill Reminder (reminder to take your supplements or medication), water intake reminder, task/to-do list maker, etc. It syncs fully with the phone calendar and offers tons more features and functionality that you won't get in any fitness band/tracker. This is a real smartwatch. It's not WearOS, but Zepp OS is no slouch. This thing truly performs. It's responsive and quick, and most of all, it's battery efficient. Where you'd only get 2 days tops on most Wear OS devices, you can get upwards of 5 days, even up to 7 if you disable a few things. Sleep tracking seems to be very accurate and my HR measurements have been pretty accurate, along with my step count. How do I know this? Because I physically check my pulse myself, with my fingers, and count. Same for my stops; I test every fitness tracker or smart watch by simply walking and counting my steps. I do this for a few hundred meters over the course of a few days - if the measurement is close or precise to what I've counted, then that's literally the best gauge of accuracy. One thing I absolutely love about this watch is the sheer number of watch faces available, many of them free. Yesterday I spent about an hour browsing watch faces, making favourites and trying many out, and I still didn't reach the bottom of the list. Watches faces galore! The watches faces range from bland, to clean and exciting and downright classic, cool or gorgeous. An overall great and varied selection. I can go on and on about this watch, but I don't have the time. I'll simply run through some things, in list form. Speaker Quality - Decent, clear gets loud enough Screen Quality - Bright, vivid sharp with a responsive auto brightness feature. Can see in direct sunlight with no issues. Features - Tons. Make sure to deep dive into all the settings (on the watch and from the app) to set this up for your specific needs and see all the features available to you. App - The Zepp app gets deep and granular for health metrics and is quite intuitive. There's room for improvement, but overall it has been a great, easy experience. There's even an easy-to-find User Feedback section in the app to suggest ideas for the Amazfit/Zepp team. One thing to note is, while this watch is rated at 5ATM, I always err on the side of caution where it concerns my tech and water. Whether it's this watch or another, I've found that water and these electronics don't mix. It's only a matter of time before a little water gets somewhere, and starts causing problems (either with the battery or the screen). This isn't something unique to this watch, it's with electronics in general. So, although it can handle swimming just fine, I don't get my smartwatches or phones wet, at all, regardless of the water resistance rating they have. I've heard and personally experienced too many horror stories with water and electronics, and while this watch is very affordable, a damaged device is still an expense and down-time. All in all, this watch and Amazfit have exceeded my expectations. I unhesitatingly recommend it!

Amazfit Active 2 Review: The Garmin and Apple Watch Rival I Didnโt See Coming
As someone who has used everything from Apple Watches to various Garmin models, I went into the Amazfit Active 2 with high expectationsโand honestly, it has blown me away. For a watch that sits at such an aggressive price point, I felt like the "premium" experience starts the moment you start unboxing the product. First Impressions: The "Out-of-the-Box" Factor The packaging is surprisingly impressive. Often, budget-friendly options lack in this area and it can be obvious that it is a budget-friendly option just purely due to the packaging alone. But Amazfit clearly took a page out of the high-end playbook here. The unboxing has the kind of presentation that makes you feel like youโve bought a piece of luxury tech rather than just a cheap fitness tracker. Setup & Sync: Pretty Effortless Integration If youโve ever struggled with a finicky Bluetooth pairing process, youโll appreciate how seamless this is. Just turn on the Amazfit 2, download the Zepp app, scan the QR code and you're set. Within three minutes, I had my notifications configured, my health data syncing, and a new watch face installed. - Note, my watch did force me to update the software prior to being able to doing too much on the watch. This took about 10 minutes. The UI: Smooth, Snappy, and Spot On This is where the Active 2 truly earns its keep. Coming from the fluid (but battery-hungry) Apple Watch and the data-rich (but sometimes clunky) Garmin interface, I was skeptical about Zepp OS. The UI on the watch is exceptionally smooth (almost too smooth? If that can be a thing). Thereโs no noticeable stutter when swiping through widgets, and the touch response is immediate. The app icons look premium and overall I think it will be a great option to track my fitness and sleep. The Verdict As someone who has lived in the Apple and Garmin ecosystems, I am genuinely impressed. The Amazfit Active 2 doesn't just "compete" for the priceโit stands on its own merits for design, ease of use, and software performance. If you want the premium feel without the "premium" tax, this is the one.

A Good Watch for the $$$
Iโm only giving it 4 stars so far for just like a few minor things but nothing that keeps me from recommending it. i donโt do this often, but i like this watch. Even though Iโm an iphone user. it works, itโs not the apple watch though but it does what i need. tracks my health, notifications, lets me knows about calls. i donโt need to talk into my watch i'm not a power ranger. im on day 4 of the battery so far at 57% and i charged it when i got it. i did buy a cover for it and its very nice. thereโs different watch faces how other smart watches do, some of them are cool but have to pay for. thereโs also an option to use your own photo so the watch band is my favorite. if you have small wrist or if you wanna get it for your like kid age 10+ this is a good affordable start if you want them to have a watch. i donโt like the idea of having to keep the app open all the time for it to be full connection BUT you can still be connected to your phone. still working out the gimmicks but itโs a very nice watch for the price it is, i was very impressed on the price which is why i got it. I like the lock option and DND option for when i'm sleeping so i don't fumble with it

Lightweight, low profile, excellent functionality - and great value.
I've had this watch for only two days now, but MAN do I like it! It replaced my OnePlus Watch 3 43mm because I wanted something lighter with a lower profile. This Amazfit watch fits the bill and then some. As a retired senior I don't need - nor was I using - all the workout and athletic features on the OnePlus... but the Amazfit Active 2 Premium has them. Whatโs important to me is that the "Premium" designation means this model has the sapphire glass (which my OnePlus didn't) which makes it much more scratch resistant. It is lighter and more comfortable on my wrist and, because of the tapered case and bezel and lower profile, it slides in and out of sleeves and pockets without snagging like the OnePlus did. The AMOLED display can be set to super-bright (I have it at about 50%) and is very easy to see - even for my aging eyes. Using the app, I was able to select a minimalist analog face with a black background and just the minimum of data that I want. There was no need to adjust text size, either - very easy to read. I put the orange silicone strap that came with it in a drawer and the supplied leather strap looks nice and goes with any clothing (though the leather strap is a bit short, even on my not-so-large wrist). The watch is quite attractive. I like cloth straps and have one the proper size on order. The step tracking seems to be at least as accurate as my OnePlus was. The app was easy to install and set up (I have an Android phone) and the app quickly linked with the watch. Over 48 hours of use with a lot of screen time setting things up, downloading and syncing multiple watch faces, etc., battery usage has been about 10%. This would indicate to me that, with my normal use, the battery should last at least 10 days between charges. The Amazfit watch is great - and at less than half the price of the OnePlus.

High Quality Smart Watch for A Good Price
I really like this smart watch. Unlike most others, it has a traditional clock face with a sweeping second hand. The display also has existing battery power and heart rate displayed, plus the day of the week, month , and numerical date. The level of brightness can be set by going into the settings menu. The battery that lasts for 2 weeks is a real plus. That is in contrast to Apple Watches that have to be charged daily. And even when you have to charge the watch, it can be accomplished in a short time. Like a couple of hours. There are many exercise routines that can be set to display. Routine displays are weather news, Amazon delivers, etc. The sleep monitoring is very good. It can be reflected on the watch and also a more detailed version can be displayed on the watch App. For the price, this watch is hard to beat. It is a real upgrade from my earlier Amazfit Bit 6 watch. It costs a little more, but the sensors are better and worth the smll price increase.

EXCELLENT watch!
Love this watch! I had an amazfit GTR mini and wanted to try something new (and donate my mini to a friend), so my partner and I bought two of these watches. He was skeptical at first, coming from having a more fully featured, rugged Garmin that tracked... I don't even know what Garmins track. Once he figured out how to set the watch up to his liking (customizing notifications, finding the right watch face, etc.) he fell in love with it. Recently, while out on a hike, he lost his watch and went back to using a gigantic Garmin that he received from a friend and he absolutely hated it. Too big, too bulky, constant notifications for unnecessary information. I surprised him with a new Active 2 Premium and he was THRILLED. Anecdotal stories aside, this is a fantastic watch. Here's why: - I use it as a pretty basic smartwatch (only notifications I receive are text messages and phone calls, and I use it to track gym workouts and sleep info) and I get 10-14 days of battery life out of it with absolutely no problem. I've had mine since around July of last year, and the battery life hasn't changed at all. - Charging is super easy. It comes with a puck that connects to a USB-C cable that magnetically snaps to the back of the watch. It can go from dead to a full charge in less than an hour, and even 10 minutes of charging will give it more than enough juice to get you through a day or two. - The watch is really well built, and the sapphire glass really earns its keep. It's been through some wild adventures, and the watch still looks flawless. The waterproof capacity of this watch is solid, and I regularly wear it in the shower, while washing dishes, and swimming in the ocean with no issues, though I do make sure to rinse it thoroughly after exposure to salt water. - Aesthetically, this watch is just fantastic. It is thin, the diameter of the watch is flattering on both women and men, and the right watch face can make it look great for any occasion. I use a silicon band, but my partner prefers the leather band that comes with the Premium version. Any 20mm band will work with this watch, so your options are pretty limitless. - The ability to answer calls and dictate texts through the phone works very well. Neither of us can tell when we're talking to each other via watch. - The watch face selection is fantastic! I have a handful of paid faces (if you're an android person, enroll in google opinion rewards and you'll generate enough google play credit to buy all the watch faces you'd ever dream of wanting), but there are several free faces that I utilize regularly as well. -Screen brightness is just fine. If you are someone who intends on sleeping with the watch on, you can set the face to not light up unless you press buttons on it during specific time windows. If the watch face turns on and you want it to turn off, all you have to do is place the palm of your hand over the watch face. Good for theaters, etc. For the money, this is an EXCELLENT watch. For Regular People Purposes, I believe its battery life and build quality make it a superior choice when compared to several other, more expensive smartwatches.

Trรจs bon produit. Application+ montre excellents
Excellent rapport qualitรฉ prix.

Beautiful display!
I love it. I've been waiting to upgrade from my Bip, waited likely a bit too long, but this is a really nice watch. One of the best features is that I can still wear my Bip when doing rough and tumble work outside, then switch to the Active when I'm done.....the Zepp app amalgamates the steps from both, so 8 can still meet my step goal across 2 watches....great feature! Saves me from destroying the face of the new watch working outside. Love that I can have a timer running in the background while still able to use the watch, something I was unable to do with the Bip.

โญโญโญโญโญ Excellent Smartwatch โ Great Value for Money!
I've been using this smartwatch for a few weeks now, and I'm very impressed. The display is bright and clear, the battery lasts several days on a single charge, and the fitness tracking features are accurate and easy to use. It connects seamlessly with my phone and notifications come through instantly. The design looks premium and is comfortable to wear all day. Overall, it's a fantastic smartwatch with excellent features. Highly recommended!

Wish I replaced my Fitbit earlier! Outshines it by miles!
Bought this to replace my Fitbit which broke, having lasted less than 18 months. Sick of poor quality Fitbit I decided to move away from them and did a lot of research before settling on this beauty. What can I say, it outshines my old fitbit in every way and cost less too. It looks better, the quality and build seem better, like it might actually last longer, and the zepp app which comes with it is brilliant. The insights are great, again, way more detailed than Fitbit! The watch itself has a really clear, bright screen, and even displays photos and videos! I can even get my ring doorbell on it. It's very versatile to suit your needs, with so many different features and there's lots of clock faces to choose from to personalise it, some free, some paid. It was really easy to set up and connect to my phone. Battery life is insane too, I've just gone 10 days since my first charge without charging it. I've just now put it on charge, it was still on 25% so not desperate (for this watch anyway). I cannot recommend this watch enough for looks, versatility, ease of use, battery life, and price point. It looks way more expensive than it is! I do recommend buying screen protectors though as this watch does have a glass screen.
