Tool works really well. Strips wire without damaging any strands. Wire gauge on tool accurate when using with different types of wire grades. Would recommend.

I had heard good things about Vessel tools so I took a chance on these. I really like that these do 12-24 awg as this is the range I work with 99% of the time. I also like that these have a lock so they don't come open in my bag (unlike many of the Klein). They do a very good job stripping wire. Here's the downside- the cutters developed a nick within the first month even though I had only cut copper wire no bigger than 16 gauge. It is hard to strip wire without the lock reengaging every time which is frustrating. The handles are really thin and not comfortable to use more than 5 minutes at a time. If the metal was harder, the lock was engineered better, and the handles were more comfortable, these would be perfect.

No issues with this item. Good bang for the buck.
