Prison Break - Season 1-4

I was told about this series from a colleague. I was sceptical whether it'd be any good especially given my thorough enjoyment of the "24" box set starring Keiffer Sutherland as Jack Bauer. I can happily report that having watched the entire 4 seasons of Prison Break - I have not been disappointed. The whole thing has been very engaging. The 3rd season was a little weak but season 4 more than makes up for this slight lapse The box set is very much worth the money and it's a joy to watch without having ads interrupting the fluidity of events. I have no regrets purchasing this box set. I have finished my viewing of the entire series - life now feels a little emptier....

SERIES 1 - Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) is the victim of a political conspiracy that is determined to bring him down, and the only one who can save him is his brother, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller). A prison engineer, Michael gets himself arrested and locked up in the same prison where his brother sits on death row, intending to use his intimate knowledge of the jail to help them both escape. Unfortunately, Michael isn't prepared for what he finds on the inside--but he remains determined to see his plan through. SERIES 2 - Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller, THE HUMAN STAIN) and his brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell, JOHN DOE) might have escaped prison at the end of season one, but that doesn't mean that drama and action have to end in this thrilling series' second year. Michael, Lincoln, and a group of escaped convicts aren't just on the run from the law, led by an FBI agent (William Fichtner, INVASION). They're also devoting their time to uncovering a vast government plot that takes them all over the world. SERIES 3 - The third season of this thrilling, hyper-paced series picks right up where the last one left off. With much of the crew back in prison at Sona Federal in Panama, Lincoln Burrows has been exonerated from his criminal charges. Michael Scofield, however, is incarcerated once again and is facing a homicide charge. The two find themselves dealing with the corrupt and far-reaching secret government Company and agree to plan and execute the escape of Company agent and convict James Whistler in exchange or the release of Dr. Sara Tancredi and L.J. Burrows. SERIES 4 - The fourth and final season of this thrilling, hyper-paced series picks right up where the last one left off. Overcome with grief by Dr. Sara Tancredi's apparent beheading, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) sets out on a mission to avenge the death of his loved one. It doesn't take long, however, for several revelations to put Michael on a different path--a trip back to Chicago for an attempted reunion. Meanwhile, Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) also makes his way back to the Windy City when he, Sucre, Mahone, and Belick are transferred there from Sona, the recently reduced-to-ashes Panamanian prison facility. There in Chicago, a Department of Homeland Security agent (Michael Rapaport) coerces the crew into joining a movement to take down the corrupt and far-reaching secret government syndicate known only as the Company.

Once you start watching this series you won’t want to stop watching. Absolutely amazing series. Really worth buying!

I'd heard of Prison Break before but never knew much about it. We decided to purchase this in the hope that it would live up to all the excellent reviews it was given. Boy, we were not disappointed!! From series 1, all the way to the Final Break, we have been glued to the twists and turns of the adventures of the "Fox River Eight". A great cast of characters; however,bizarrely enough both Teabag and Bellick were our favourite characters. In summary, I have chosen only two words to sum up Prison Break - ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! Go buy it now, you won't be disappointed. For me, I'll give it a few weeks and then I'm going to watch it all over again....

I'd never heard of Prison Break before, but was recommended to it by a friend, who happened to have series 1 on DVD. After watching it through over a very short period of time,which included losing a whole weekend to it, I felt it was necessary to get the next few series as I needed to know what happened next. The individual episodes always leave you hanging, eager for the next instalment. Who would have thought from the Title that the plot could be so involved. The characters have all been well thought out too. I am within site of the end of Series four (unfortunately the last), and it hasn't disappointed at all. My overall thoughts are £40 very well spent.

Received but not yet used. Quality is of good used standard. Packaging basic. Bought these after Amazon emailed to notify us that the box set was due to be removed from its Prime platform. We were munching our way through Season 2 at the time. We've just got to the end of Season 4, having watched the series to date on Prime. Season 1 - 4 remain available on Prime. Sadly, Season 5 is only pay per view currently! The series is enjoyable but the twists can get annoying if you watch more than 2 episodes in a row.

This is far beyond spectacular and I who thought I had seen it all!!The amazing stunts they try to pull off...Michael Scofield's cunning ideas....the repercussions of teaming up...I never thought this series would be this episodes turner and I mean it,IT IS.It deserves the credit without a doubt.Believe my say so,it makes you willing for more and more without retaliation...The price one of a bargain and the opportunity to finally watching something this catchy priceless.I have never been this hooked on in my whole life!!! DO NOT HESITATE IN ACQUIRING YOURS AT ONCE!! SCORED OVER 100 OR MORE!!

Cofanetto elegante, non troppo ingombrante, tutta la serie in inglese, con sottotitoli in inglese e vari contenuti speciali. Proprio quello che mi aspettavo. Mi sa che consumerò i dvd (soprattutto delle prime 2 serie) :-)
