Westclox (Black) Super-Loud LED Electric Alarm Clock, Standard

My previous one was this model, but had lasted many years and needed to be replaced. I was so pleased to have been able to purchase the exact same model as before. Digits are clear, so that even without my glasses on I can make out the time. The alarm can be depended upon, and even if there's a power cut, it is totally reliable. The alarm is a loud sound, but not horrible to hear like some alarms are. Good brand. Good price. Well worth buying!

Nifty small bright little clock with easy to use buttons. A brand name too!

This is an alarm clock with an alarm sound that is typical of most alarm clocks. It is not at all “Super Loud.” If you want “super loud,” buy a Sonic Bomb. Beware, though, this clock was supposed to be a replacement for my Sonic Bomb which lasted only five months. Does anyone have any recommendations for an alarm clock that is super loud and lasts more than five months? Also, it would be nice to change the alarm time with buttons for hours and minutes. The Sonic Bomb has just one button to change the time and it’s rather tedious.

The only reason I chose this clock over others I liked better was because it says it’s “super loud.” It isn’t loud at all. It has 2 settings, but neither is loud.

This replaced an old clock that I had to reset the time on several ti,es a day. This new clock is small compact and yet highly visible from across the room.

The price is good and the clock is easy to use. It is accurate and the alarm is easy to set and goes off at the right time. The clock is a little light but ease of use and accuracy outweigh that factor. I bought a second one because I liked it so much.

Love this clock.I had the same clock and had to buy a new one after it finally started malfunctioning after 20 years. Easy to read display from across the room yet not so bright that it keeps you awake.

Among hundreds of alarm clocks in the market, I am so happy that I chose this Westclox alarm clock. It is easy to set the alarm on, easy to read, not too large numbers, just perfect in every way. Also perfect size, does not take much of space on the night table. Just love this.

This is the 3rd Westclox alarm clock I've bought, and I've always been very satisfied with them. However, this one arrived with a ?Chinese plug (2 flat pins), and in lockdown conditions It took over a month to buy and receive a UK plug for it. When attached this instantly produced a loud buzz - unprecedented for Westclox alarm clocks, so I assumed the problem was with the plug, and had to waste more time getting another one, which took me past the alarm clock's return-by date. The 2nd plug produced the same buzz, so it must be to do with the clock, not the plug. I therefore left the plug attached and plugged in longer than the previous one to see what happened, and after c20 seconds there was a smell of burning plastic from the clock, followed by a pop. End of clock.Too late to return or exchange it, according to Amazon. I hope this is not true, since it is evidently faulty, and in these unusual times it has unavoidably taken me this long to find out. I'd like a replacement, please: Westclox alarms are the only ones I've ever found that work for me.

It's easy to read and the loudness is okay, but it is to bright, there should be a way to make it dimmer. It shines to bright beside my bed at night to the point that I have to turn it away. Other than that, it's okay

This product is completely useless for the UK as it comes with an American flat two pin plug and requires and American 120 volt power supply. There is no indication of this at all on the page I used to order it.
