FIFINE AmpliTank K688CTW Dynamic Microphone with Boom Arm, XLR/USB Mic

Looking for an independent mic that's perfect for gaming well here ya go.BackstoryI got so TIRED of buying gaming headsets because either the mic would go bad over time, it would bent and break, or I would be so quiet people could not hear me. A friend recommended this to me and after taking some time to research, I bought it. I mean the price was great, definitely better than a whole new $200 headset and it goes perfectly on the side of my desk.Pros1. I can actually be heard by others and I am no longer too quiet or need to be turned up2. Easy to set up and stays on the side of my desk perfectly3. Easy to maneuver and does not fall over when doing so4. Not squeaky, even AFTER a year5. Mute button lights up green and red when unmuted and muted which I need because dory brain6. Adjusts to pretty much anyways you want it to be. Ive used it with the stand completely vertical, completely horizontal, mic infront of my face, and sideways (reference pic, which I found to be my favorite)7. Cord is long enough to tuck down the side of my desk and into the back of my PCCons1. The wire is just there, like freely to do what it wants. I personally solved this with those little velcro things that you get when you buy like phone chargers or other stuff and that keeps it in place very nicely (with enough slack; reference pic)2. The rubber part that grips onto the desk on the bottom of the stand can slide off. HOWEVER its stayed sticky even after Ive resticked it quite a few times and honestly can be prevented if you just make sure to untighten the stand COMPLETELY and be sure not to slide the stand if you're making any positional adjustment (im lazy and dont care it still works even halfway off)3. If you keep your mic sideways, depending on how its set up the mute button wont be facing you like it was for me so you may want to turn it. When trying to put back in the mic with the bands I had a little trouble but eventually I was able to do it.TLDRI use this for gaming. Works great, volumes good on both sides. Had for a year and is still in very good condition. Very functional. Pros heavily out weigh the cons, and all cons can be avoided or easily worked around :)

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this microphone. The sound is clear and crisp with very little background noise, and the included boom arm and accessories make it an excellent value. Setup was quick and easy, and it feels much more expensive than it is. Great for gaming, streaming, video calls, or recording. I would definitely recommend it.

This mic was easy to set up. Definitely be careful with the springs, especially if you need to take them off the mic. They're super tense and will launch at supersonic speeds if you don't have a good grip on them when unhooking them, but because of this tension they're really good at holding the microphone in whatever position you need to angle it in. Though it does make me nervous, when using the mic and seeing the springs pointed at my head lol.The audio quality of this thing is immaculate. The first thing my friends noticed when I started using this was the clarity of my voice. They described it as "almost like just talking to you in person" which is some great feedback. You'll definitely want to mess with the mic sensitivity, it will pick up you keyboard typing and mouse clicking but once you get it down you'll effectively only be picking up your voice. It's easy to adjust this using the knob on the back of the mic. There's also a port for an audio jack, I've connected some earphones and the audio output that comes through to them is really good. A whole lot more comfortable to me than using an over ear headset, with higher voice quality than what most of my previous headsets have offered. Fifine has proven it's worth to me and has become a staple in my streaming setup.

Product arrived sooner than expected. Great audio and build quality, no issues whatsoever, have been using this for quite some time. Installation was easy and everything works as advertised. Excellent quality for the price. My only complain is that the box it came in was the original one, no amazon package was containing it and the box itself wasn't sealed; despite everything being on the package, and none of the articles being lost, I would think twice if you are shipping this to a foreign country.

Best mic for this price. High quality and give you a great sound to youtube channel, even if you room is not profissional.
