What is the blade steel?

Sarah (from 4 years ago), I wouldn't exactly call 14C28N a "budget steel", but is definitely a step up from 8cr13MoV! Granted, not one of these fancy powder metallurgy "Super-Steels", but The Sandvik Swedes made this steel specifically for Kershaw 10 years ago (which is 2012 these days, and not 4 years ago). But if I had to pick from 2 identical knives, only difference is one is our Sandvik 14C28N here, and the other....say Bohler M390 microclean, which is probably the most common and popular "Powder Metallurgy/Super Steel".... I would DEFINITELY take Sandvik version. But that's just me. They're both awesome alloys and way higher grade than the Chinese 8cr13MoV and thwir likes.

can the clip be removed?

The pocket clip can be removed with the correct tools. However, it can only be used on one side. If you plan on removing it to use on another side this will not work.

Right hand carry only?

Yes right hand carry only. The clip cannot be moved to left hand carry.

It looks like the edge is 11 degrees each side. Is that correct?

idk, it's Definetley a very thin edge. my 20° set little autosharpener thing doesn't do anything to it really. 11 seems kind of low. maybe 15? idk, good luck getting an answer customer service doesn't speak much English lol
